Octavia Lestrange

My room is a fucking mess. Clothing is lying everywhere on the floor, my books are out of my bookshelf, the bathroom door is wide open and my sheets are off my bed. 

"What the absolute fuck!" I shout out, not believing my eyes. I walk inside, stepping on multiple things that are displayed on the floor. 

All of my drawing stuff is out of their place, my drawers and boxes with stuff are open, multiple vases are broken and some books are missing pages. 

I bite down on my lip as I grab my favorite book, Pages are ripped out of it, the cover fully torn. 
Sitting down on my bed, I let out a soft cry, looking around my room once again. 

What happened? 

"Merlins beard" Theo stutters as he glances around the room, still standing in the doorframe. His gaze locks onto me, and he walks over to me, careful to not step on anything before sitting down next to me, slowly wrapping an arm around me. 

"I guess there's someone that really hates me" I sigh, looking at the demolished book i'm holding in my hands. 

"Maybe Pansy and Astoria?" Theo grabs his wand and points at the book, whispering a soft 'reparo' and the book becomes just like new. 

I smile at him through my tears, before glancing towards my bookshelf. "Could be, but how could they have entered my room? they have no key and the door was locked" 

"They could've simply unlocked and locked it with magic, we should go to Dumbledore's office to report what happened, he can also help restore all your stuff" Theo says, standing up before holding out his hand to me. 

I grab his hand while dropping the book on my bed, and we both exit my room and walk towards the common room exit. 
We stroll through the empty hallways towards Dumbledore's office, although it feels like Theo is sort of leading the way, my feet just following his steps while my mind wanders all over the place. 

We arrive at Dumbledore's office in no time, and I hesitate, but Theo just kicks open the door without even knocking. 
Inside, there's professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, and their heads snap around to us, Theo standing there with a mad expression, and me, with tears still falling down my face. 

"someone broke into my fucking dorm" I speak out, spitting the words at Dumbledore. He looks at McGonagall and Snape, and they both stand up and leave the office immediately. 

"easy there, miss Lestrange, Have a seat, tell me exactly what happened" Dumbledore says, his eyes kind but worried. I sit down together with Theo, and with just a swing of his hand, Dumbledore makes two glasses of butterbeer appear in front of us. 

"I got back to my dorm, the door was locked. I unlocked it and my room was completely trashed." I say, my eyes wandering over his face and through his office. "Someone must've unlocked the door and locked the door again with the Alohomora spell, it can't be anything else." 

"I'm sorry to inform you, Miss Lestrange, but the dorm room doors are not susceptible to magic, however, I do remember you coming here earlier, telling me that you lost your key. I suspect someone stole it" Dumbledore speaks, way too calm for my liking.

I grit my teeth together and then I grab the butterbeer, finishing it in a few sips. "Theo said you knew a spell to restore everything, professor" I blurt out, slamming the mug on his desk. 

"I do indeed, I'll follow you to your dorm, miss Lestrange" He speaks, before standing up. 
Me and Theo do the same, and I instinctively grab Theo's hand as he leads me back to my dorm. 

I open the door, and Dumbledore looks around my dorm, a sorry expression forming on his face. He raises his wand, and suddenly everything starts to move. 
Broken pots and vases get unbroken, all of my clothing flies back into my closet perfectly folded, and lastly, all of my ripped up books fly back into my bookshelf, and the lights turn on again. 

Staring at my room, I am mesmerized a simple spell restores everything I have, and I turn to Dumbledore, grateful for his presence for the first time. I smile at him, a real smile and not a forced one. "Thank you, professor" I say, nodding my head. 

"No need to thank me, Octavia. Be careful and lock the door every time you leave. If you have a suspicion of anyone who could have done this, you come straight to me. Aggression like this is not tolerated here at Hogwarts" He says, and then he simply leaves. 

I shake my head, an uneasy feeling spreading through my body, like something is missing. I turn to Theo and wrap my arms around him softly. "Thanks for being there for me, i appreciate it" 

He lets out a soft sigh, wrapping his arms around me too. "No need to thank me, I was just being a good friend, now get some rest okay? Stressing isn't good for you" He says, and then he smiles at me before leaving my room too, closing the door behind him. 

I still can't shake the uneasy feeling off of me as I sit down, and then stand back up again, grabbing my pack of cigarettes before walking towards the window. 
Opening it, the cold winter air hits me straight in the face as I light up a cigarette, inhaling the smoke deeply, feeling some of the stress leaving my body as the nicotine fills my lungs. 

I throw away the remaining part of my cigarette and close the window again, before glancing around my room. Something is missing, I just know it, but I don't know what, and I can't figure it out. 

Sitting down on my bed, I grab a book and open it, trying to find comfort in the pages and words, but my mind is too busy focussing on something else. 

Pain. 

My left arm hurts, and while it's only a little, it's there. I sigh and pull up my sleeve. As I stare at the mark displayed on my arm a loud gasp fills my dorm, and then a soft thud of my book that falls out of my hands and on the floor. 

what the hell is happening?

A short chapter this time, i am so sorry, but I promise you the next chapter is going to be interesting,
and its going to turn around the whole vibe of the book, just bare with me and wait.
