Chapter 4

Maddie wakes up with the biggest smile on her face after the night she had with Kelly.  She found him looking at her.  What are you doing she asked him.  Just looking at my girlfriend he said.  She gets on top of him. You want to do this again huh. Damn right she said.  She can feel him getting hard. He switches positions and gets on top. He enters inside her.  They have sex so hard. Her bed almost breaks. Want to go again he asks. Maybe later she said.  Just hold me she said to him.  They lay in each other's arms and talk. Maddie grabs her phone and texts Haley.  It's official Hales.  Oh  Jesus Lord  help us Haley replied back.  You can't be happy for me. I'm happy for you Maddie. Severide asks what she say.  Oh Jesus Lord help us.  Severide starts laughing. 

Sounds like she is happy for us.  She has seen what I went through with Danny. She wants me to be happy.  She knows you don't have the best track record.   I told her you are going to prove her wrong.  She kisses him.  He pulls her close. Maddie what time is it. 10:30 why. It's Maddie and Kelly time to  take a shower together.  She starts laughing. What he said.   She threw a pull at him.  He rolls on top  of her and starts kissing her. 
He enters her and kisses her neck. Looks at her and kisses her passionately.  He puts her legs around his neck.  He goes deeper inside her.  She moans his name. He finishes and rolls off.  They are out of breath.   They lay in each other's arms.  I can lay her all day she said. Me too Kelly said to her.  What is it he asked her.  She starts laughing. No it's not time for us to take a shower together.  You can't blame a guy for trying.  She gives him a kiss.   You know one day I am going to get what I want.  Yes babe one day she said.

Hey Kelly you have a text. Hey Kelly I know it's been a long time but I can use your help on a case with your expertise Renee. He reads the text and puts his phone down.  Who was that she asked.  It was somebody I dated at long time ago. Interesting 🤔 why is  she contacting you Kelly. She needs help on a case.  Yeah right.  Maddie come on. Whatever she said to him.  She gets up goes to the fridge to get a water and comes back to the bedroom.  You going to pout now. She gives him the finger.  No Kelly I'm not pouting.  Just find it odd your ex girlfriend would contact you. Here we go he said to her. If you are going to act like this everytime someone texts especially a female idk.  You don't know what Maddie said.  Idk if I can be with someone that acts like this.  Get out she told him.  Whatever Maddie call me when you grow up. Seriously Severide you should talk. He slams the door shut. Maddie bursts into tears.  She calls Haley. Severide and I got into a fight.   What happened Haley asked .  His ex-girlfriend Renee texted asking him for help on a case. I said I find that odd.  He said idk if I can be with someone that acts like this every time I get a text especially if it's from a female.   I told him to get out. Oh Maddie Haley said.  Maddie hears a crash.  What's that Haley said. Idk. Maddie grabs a bat from underneath her bed.  I'm staying on the phone Haley said to her. Maddie goes out to see what's going on.  She comes face to face with Danny.  He lunges towards her abd Maddie screams and drops her phone.   Bitch I told you it wasn't ever Danny screamed at her.  He grabbed Maddie and slammed her against the counter.  He repeatedly kicks her.  Maddie becomes unconscious.  Maddie Maddie Haley is screaming into the phone.  Danny hangs up the phone and leaves the scene.

Haley dials 911. This detective Haley Upton.
I need an ambulance and gives Maddies address. Meanwhile at 51 Severide comes into shift all moody.  The bells go off. 

Ambulance 61 person in distress. Gives Maddies address. Severide stops in his tracks. I'm going with you he said to Brett. I don't think that's a good idea.  I'm going to Brett that's the love of my life. You can't stop me.  Severide I will take you Boden said.   They get into the truck and follow Brett to Maddie's. 

They get to Maddie's place. Severide runs in and sees Maddie unconscious on the floor.  Severide drops to his knees and tears streaming down his face. Baby come on wake up. Baby I'm here it's me Kelly.  Severide let me work. You have to help her Brett you can't let her die.   I will do everything in my power to not let that happen.  Brett continued to work on Maddie. I have to inbiate her. Oh God Severide cried out.  Ok I'm in. Let's get her to Med.  I'm riding with you.  He jumps in the back.  Severide watching the monitors.  Severide has his head in his hands.  Tears streaming down his face.  I should have insisted on staying with her.
