The next day Maddie is getting ready to be released. Severide hasn't left her side since she came to the hospital. Will came in and checked her over and gave her the all clear to go home. He told her to take it easy and if she doesn't feel well or any signs of headache nausea to call him immediately.

Maddie signs the last of the paperwork.
They come with a wheelchair for her. Is this really necessary. I can walk. Maddie you know the drill get in the wheelchair.

Yes lieutenant Severide. He just shakes his head. The car is already pulled up to the front. Kelly helps Maddie into the car. I'm coming to the firehouse tomorrow. Maddie! Severide I cant sit a home. I need to be around my 51 family. As for the party Herman is doing it tonight. Maddie laughs of course he is. Maddie phone starts to ring.

Maddie goes in the shower. She is relived to be home. She still has flashbacks of being held captive. She can't wait till this nightmare is over and the guy is caught. Maddie has to tell Hailey under no certain terms is she to testify in any trail. She did that with Danny and that was a traumatic experience reliving all that trauma.

Maddie gets out and puts on her clothes for tonight. As she comes out. She tells Hailey she is not participating in any trial. I'm done reliving all I went through. I want to put this behind me and move on. Kelly hears this and agrees with what Maddie says. I don't want her facing that bastard again he says. He whispers in her ear. Adam ,Kim and Kevin at another table. With Will ,Natalie, Dr Choi and Dr Charles and Miss Goodwin and Maggie. Herman and Gabby behind the bar. Severide and Maddie sit with 51. Severide grabs some drinks for the table. They are talking and laughing.
Voight walks in and the bar goes silent. Don't be silent on my account. Maddie greets her Uncle . Hi Uncle Hank. Voight nods to the rest of the table.
