The next day Maddie gets ready for shift. They called her back a day early. She had nots in stomach. She didn't want to see Severide.
She was gonna try to avoid him. If he wanted to talk it wasn't going to be in the firehouse. She texted Hailey I want to throw up. My nerves are shot. You will be fine Maddie. Just ignore him. Maddie gets to the firehouse. She walks right past the squad table. Severide sees Maddie come in. I really need to talk to her he says to himself. She gets changed into her uniform. She sees Severide come into the locker room. She quickly tries to leave.

Maddie drives to the store and grabs what she needs and heads back to 51. She walks in and puts the groceries on the counter. Ok candidate put these away.
