Expect this one to be rather short! It's meant to be more of a short and sweet one!

Dogday sat impatiently within his cell, with a surprising lack of restraints on his body. Normally, he'd have the willpower to escape, but he had a feeling that he'd meet his demise if he did.

A certain feline, the one who held him prisoner knew this, so he never felt the need to completely trap the dog. Besides, the two both know that the feline would find Dogday before he could get too far anyways.

Especially since he was no longer familiar with the factory's layout, due to many areas being broken down or requiring the use of employee devices in order to get through to them.

The canine sighed, tapping his foot a little as he stared at the ceiling. Admittedly, the feline's company wasn't the best, but it was better than sitting here bored all day.

Especially since he can't actually do anything about his current predicament. As much as he hated to admit it, the only reason why he's alive right now is because that cat chose to keep him here.

Otherwise, he would've fallen to another toy, if not The Prototype himself.

The dog lowered his head as his cell door opened, a much taller cat entering the cell alongside him, shutting the door as a small precaution.

If this had occurred a few months ago, the canine would've been terrified, backing into a corner with his tail between his legs. However, the two were far past such a thing.

The canine just let out a small sigh, appearing to be uninterested in the feline before him.

As expected, the cat approached him, bringing himself as he kneeled down, nuzzling his head against the dog's cheeks.

Dogday's face furrowed a bit, allowing this to occur for a few seconds before pushing the cat away. Catnap blinked, staring at Dogday with a confused look on his face, as if he were a lost kitten.

Despite this, the cat continued, attempting to bring his face close to the dog's, lining up his lips with the canine's, only for the dog to push his head further away.

"Stop it. Not today, buddy."

The cat's eyes narrowed, his expression turning to one of annoyance. He wasn't going to force the dog, obviously, but he still felt as if he deserved it.

"Come on! Just let me have one kiss! It's not a big deal!"

"I said no! Not after what you've done!"

"Oh come on! We both know that it was because of The Prototype!"

The dog crossed his arms, turning his back away from the feline, which only made the cat let out a small hiss in response.

"And you're still the one who made the choice to do it anyways! If you want a kiss, you'll have to earn it."

Catnap groaned, letting out a small 'Ugh!' as he rolled his eyes. He wished that he had a proper rebuttle but...

Admittedly he had little to none, considering that if anything, the cat was fortunate to even be on speaking terms with the canine.

"Okay okay fine! What do you want this time? Dinner? Desert? A crown? Roses?"

Dogday smirked slightly, his mouth watering a little at the thought of a meal. Perhaps there's still some food leftover to eat...hm..

"Well...I could go for something to eat..."

The cat crossed his arms. He couldn't believe that Dogday, someone who's supposed to be his prisoner was making him do this!

"Really? You little– Sigh. Okay fine! What do you want to eat, Prince Dogday?"

"Well...I've always loved Picky's baked goods so...how about a cake?"

The canine requested, a wide smirk on his face. Luckily, the cat did know how to make a cake, but the dog knew that the cat hated he process of doing so.

Despite that, he knew that the cat would do it regardless. For him.

"Yes sir, Prince Dogday."

The cat replied obedient, an obvious hint of sarcasm in his voice as he rolled his eyes. He made his way to the cage door, only to recieve an unexpected gift from the canine.

The dog ran up the cat, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. Within an instant, Catnap froze, his face flushing red while Dogday stared back at him with a satisfied smirk.

"Good kitty. Maybe I'll give you another. Iffff you get me that cake."

The cat regained his composure, a small bit of annoyance in his expression as he leaned down, kissing the dog on his forehead.

"You're lucky I love you."

"Speak for yourself."

The two shared a mutual smile, knowing the true meaning behind their words as the cat walked off to the kitchen.

He had a cake to bake, after all.
