Yo!

Was originally gonna make this a full fledged story but I felt it wasn't interesting enough.

Thought it'd be a fun read though!

The small feline wasn't sure on how they got there.

He remembered waking up in the strange, rundown factory, with no way back home.

Still, he wasn't going to give up right away. He had a dinner with a certain dog, after all.

...Okay, if he was being honest, it's probably long past the time they planned for it. But still, maybe he'll make up for the lost time once he gets back.

...Somehow.

Speaking of which, he could hear someone nearby. From what the feline could observe, this appeared to be some makeshift prison.

Small, square spaces were made into cells on each side of the room, a narrow hallway in-between.

Honestly? This place was depressing compared to the bright, cheery home the cat was used to.

He found himself missing the feeling of the grass on his paws, rather than the rough, sometimes dusty concrete he stood on now.

Their ear twitched once they heard the voice get louder, now able to make out the words. was getting close. Maybe the source of it knows the way back?

He listened intently.

"Catnap...? Is that you? Are you finally going to finish what you started, and let me rest?"

Strange...the voice sounded both familiar, and yet unfamiliar. It almost reminded him of Dogday's voice, but deeper, and with a static filter of sorts behind it.

Could it really be..?

The cat's tail flicked eagerly in excitement, his slow walk turning into a sprint as he checked every cage as he ran, only stopping when he spotted someone in one.

It was Dogday! But he was much, MUCH taller than before. And he had belts wrapped all around him.

The cat eyed him curiously, letting out a small 'hmmmm'. That was all he said, however. The cell appeared to be openable...he thinks, anyways.

The cat wrapped his long tail around it, fiddling with it until it suddenly swung open! The cat jumped back, releasing his tail as he dodged the door!

The dog stared at him intently, a strange emotion the cat couldn't pinpoint behind his eyes.

"Catnap?! What– What are you doing..? And why are you so..."

The cat approached the dog, eyeing his chains as he jumped, climbing up onto his child before sitting down on it.

"Small and...colorful..?"

He took advantage of his long tail, using them to help undo the chains the dog was in. Well...more so fiddle with them and hoped it worked.

...Which it did on the first.

So the cat continued, one of the dog's wrists, and in turn arm released. Now to free the other...
