I wrote this chapter a reaaallly long time ago, never got the chance to edit and update though. Sorry?"You idiots! You had one job! And you couldn't do it right!"
"Hazel"
"She's alive but her breathing is slow"
"Hazel"
"Someone call doctor Philip fast!"
"We can't wait for the doctor or get an ambulance, give her a CPR"
I was brought back with a sudden force as my eyes went open and my body sprung up off the surface I was laying on. And that's when the coughing started. It was painful. Very painful.
"Oh thank god!" Martha was now on my right, holding my face between her hands with an expression I've never seen her wearing before. Dominic was on my left with soot covering his face and arms. I looked around, this definitely wasn't the Amond's house.
The cough wouldn't stop and I felt like my lungs were exploding everytime."Shh, relax" Dominic said after carrying me and laying me on the sofa, with my head on his lap. My chest was on fire that I teared up from the pain.
"She's hurt. You called the doctor?" Dominic asked Martha when she came with a large glass of water and handed it to me. My throat was dry; I needed this.
"He's on his way, I explained the situation to him, he'll give her the right treatment, don't worry" She exclaimed and sat on the chair infront of me as I shut my eyes trying to ignore the pain. I couldn't understand what happened and I had no power to question that for the moment, so I stayed as I am, laying down in his lap with closed eyes and burning insides.
"Mark, I want all of the workers in the basement. Now" I heard Drake yelling. He sounds angry, I bet he looks angry too. I really wanted to see the look on his face but it was better for me to keep my eyes closed for now.
"How is she?" he asked with a more relaxed tone.
"She's coughing a lot. I called the doctor she'll be fine" Martha said and I heard a 'good' from Drake and then the sound of his feet exiting the room. I felt someone stroke their hand gently on my cheek after that, wiping the trail of tear drops and no it was not a feminine hand, so I suppose it wasn't Martha. Well then was it... Okay.
I kept my eyes closed after that hoping to get it all figured out. I returned the events back in my head and all I could get that first: I was studying, second: I went to the bathroom and that's when I heard the exploding sounds, I got out and found the whole room in flames, but what was that thing that blew up and caused the fire? The real question is: who did this?
The scene cannot get out of my head, I will not lie and say that it's okay because it's not. Yes it was terrifying, having the thought of being one step close to death is frightening. I was terrified ... And I don't know if I'll get over this quickly. With that, my thoughts were interrupted by the voice of Josh asking someone to enter the room.
"The doctor is here" Josh annonced. I let my eyelids open slowly before I raised myself to a sitting position but Dominic had a strong grip on me, returning my head back where it was. I fixed my eyes on the middle aged man infront of me, he greeted everyone in the room with a nod and a small smile.
"How are you feeling now?" He asked me while placing himself on the chair infront of me.
"I'm fine is the most common lie, you know" I stated sarcastically. Wait why does my voice sound like that?
Doctor Philip laughed while placing his stethoscope on my chest and asked me to inhale and exhale.
