Now What?

"Hazel come down to breakfast" my mother called from the kitchen. It's Monday and I have to go to university in 30 minutes, and here I am still in bed

"okay I'll be down in a minute" I shouted back.

I lazily dragged my legs out of bed and went to my warm bathroom to have a shower and do all the things normal people do in the bathroom. when I finished, I put on a red top, leather jacket and blue skinny jeans, I let my brown hair down I didn't bother to dry it, I just let it dry naturally ... I really like my hair type it's naturally wavy and really long so I think my hair is a good feature in me.

"Morning mother" I greeted her.

"good morning" she replied and gave me a quick kiss on my forehead

"what do we have for breakfast?" most of the days I fake hunger for my mom, I'm not hungry or anything but it 's just that she gets up early to make me and my father breakfast when she can be having some nice sleep in her bed and that's just a way of me to show that im grateful, I guess.

"French toast, sausages and eggs" mom said and handed me my plate.

"there's some tea if you want too"

"okay thanks" I said with a smile on my face

"by the way mum, where's dad ? he's been busy so much these days, I don't even see him !" I said annoyed, sometimes days pass and I dont even get to see him once. we are both busy with our own stuff and that's how it turns out to be.

"he's really preoccupied with business and all, he said they are going in a lot of issues with this other gang, I think they're in big trouble this time" she said with concern

"I hope everything goes well" I said hoping we could really get through all of the mess.

I arrived at the campus and met my friends Emma and Rose ... We've been friends since childhood and through school and all, we're really close.

"Hey guys" I hugged both of them.

"hello Hazel, how've you been?" said Rose

"I'm great, how about you? anything new in life?" I said getting bored of all the things we always talk about because obviously there's nothing new going on around me

"Yes of course! remember Jim and Hannah from high school?" Said Emma sounding excited out of a sudden,

"yeah why what happened?" I said confusion splattered all over my face. We haven't seen those two since forever.

"they're getting married!!" Emma almost shouted.

"oh my god really? why? when? how?" Rose and I threw Emma with questions

"I know right? this was like so unexpected ... I know they love each other madly since high school, but getting married so fast! it's crazy!" Emma answered back

"yeah it looks kinda crazy but I think it's cute you know, how their relationship is" I said thinking about it

"anyway I got those news from Hannah her self and she even invited the three of us to the wedding next month!" said Emma sounding excited again, oh my god this girl is always hyper and have enthusiasm over everything, I don't know how does she handle this without getting a headache. Despite that she's really gorgeous, she got deep blue eyes, shoulder length black hair and really pale skin. I sometimes call her Snow White because she really looks like her, and then there's Rose, she's really quiet the total opposite of Emma, Rose is extremely pretty too she got grey eyes, long blonde hair and sun kissed skin, so I think I'm really lucky to have beautiful friends aren't I? Haha.

We finished some of our classes and then we went to the cafeteria.

"So do you think we should go to the wedding?" asked Rose.

"Umm I really don't know" I said.

"I think we should go. We'll have some fun!" said Emma.

I really don't know, weddings aren't one of my favorite things after all but I'll give it a shot.

"Okay we'll see" I said and took a sip out of my hot coffee.
