Peace.
That was the emotion Jake felt when he slowly began to wake for his sleep. He had never been so comfortable in his life. It felt like he was laying on a cloud. Jake doesn't remember when he fell asleep, he didn't even know where he was for sure. He couldn't quite recall what had happened the night before. Jake rolled onto his side, trying to get more comfortable when-.
"Ow." Jake groaned in pain, rolling onto his back once more when a sharp, intense pain went through his side.
'Oh yeah, I got stabbed.'
The previous night was slowly returning to him. The battle, the wound, the getting lost in the castle, Andy.
Andy.
Andy was a curious character that Jake was desperate to learn more about. Who was this mystery man that put him back together? How has Jake never seen him around before? He said that Jinxx tutored him so surely Jake would have seen him at least once whenever he went to visit his dear friend.
Andy was a stunning creature. He moved with an air of grace that Jake has never seen in a man. His hands were also beautiful along with the rest of him. Jake couldn't help but watch them when he was sewing up Jake's side the night before.
Everything about Andy was stunning. From his eyes down to his rich, deep voice. Jake has never felt such an instant and intense attraction to someone before now. It was almost overwhelming.
He opened his eyes, blinking at the bright sunlight that shown through the window near his side of the bad that was framed by lavish, velvet curtains in a dark shade of crimson.
'Velvet curtains?' Jake's brows furrowed, and he looked up at the gold and black silk canopy that hung over the bed. He turned his head to see Andy still asleep next to him, his hair splayed across the pillow, a ray of sunlight illuminated his porcelain skin, making him glow. He was even more handsome in the light of day. He was underneath a lush black comforter.
But in that moment, he wasn't thinking about how attractive Andy was.
'Did he bring me into a random room? Are we both going to get executed? Fuck me.' Jake sat up slowly, hissing in pain at the movement. There was blood on the sheets and Jake wanted to throw up. Yup, he was getting his head chopped off. Great.
"Fuck." Jake groaned, looking around the room as he tried to figure out what to do. He needed to try to leave the room before a guard found them.
"Hey." Andy hummed, opening his eyes to find Jake sitting up in bed. "How are you feeling?" He asked, noting the nervous expression on the knight's face.
"I need to leave." Jake said, trying to get up.
"Wha-? Why?" Andy's brows furrowed in confusion, sitting up as well.
"I got blood on the sheets, I'm going to get discharged or fucking execu-!" Jake started, but a hand on his chest stopped him.
"Jake, I don't care about the sheets, calm down." Andy reassured him.
"Why did you bring me in here?" Jake asked, looking around the room.
"It's my room, Jake. It's okay." Andy sighed. Jake whipped his head around, staring at him. "What do you mean it's your room?!" He exclaimed.
"Well-." Andy started.
"Are you a royal guard or something? No, this room is way too nice for that." Jake cut him off, more so thinking out loud than asking a genuine question.
"Okay, I'm going to tell you, but I need you to promise not to freak out." Andy said, moving to sit close to him. Jake nodded slowly, staring at him.
"So I'm the prince-." The younger man started.
