"We cannot let you take him Mr Burke," a large man said firmly to some men dressed in black.
They were looking like the FBI agents, or even CIA ones.
Mr Burke was lying on a white door.
The FBI guys looked dangerous and threatening, but the man stood firm.
He wanted to keep me with him for sure.
"It's for his sake," the men said in unison.
"I know what's better for him. In fact, I know him more than anyone else," Burke said, this time looking toward a young version of me.
"Isn't it?" he asked.
After his words, my mind span around, falling into total darkness again.
The only words that made me wake up were these of my mother yelling.
I got up quickly from thus dream.
"Tom, wake up. Breakfast is ready," Mom said.
"A dream, I guess," I muttered looking
"Sure thing," I said while leaving my bed. It took me about 10 minutes to get ready, this time was mostly spent in washing my face and making the bed.
And most importantly writing down my dream, because for some reason I was able to memorize it.
Arthur took more time to get Sylvie to take a shower, as she had started to smell.
She fought well against him, even using mana, all for the sake of not taking a shower.
And then we were all at the dining table.
"Sylvie is growing quickly," I noted to Arthur.
"Well, she's been eating most of my food for a while, that's for sure a reason " Arthur said, patting her head.
The maids brought food to the table.
Mom and Tabitha were sitting next to each other, talking about something, while Vincent and my father were discussing something that seemed importan from the way they were both focused.
I think it's that time already.
"Thank you for the food," Mom and Tabitha said to the maids, who responded with:
"Just doing our job," or something similar, with a large smile on their faces.
Then Lilia joined us, Arthur, and me.
We were sitting next to each other, quite far from the adults part of the table, to keep our conversations safe.
"So, what are you two planning to do while you're still here?" Lilia asked quietly , glancing in our direction.
"You'll know soon enough," Arthur and I said teasingly.
"Is it some kind of secret?" she asked curiously.
"You could say so," Arthur said, smiling, with Sylvie on his shoulders, jumping from time to time to snatch some of his food.
"Okay, how about your parents? Do they know about it already?" Lilia asked again, this time looking toward Mom and Dad.
"That's what we are trying to do, hopefully they'll agree" I answered this time.
"Well, you'd better not have some crazy ideas like you always do, Because Aunt Alice doesn't like those" Lilia said, warning us.
I actually thought about telling her, or maybe even bringing her alone, but she's way weaker than us at this even with all those elixirs and mana cores, that made her reach6light red core already.
