Chapter 4

Nathan's POV

I fell asleep knowing I would always heep Alli safe from harm. She tossed in her sleep, sometimes murmuring my name. So adorable! Her face scrunched up, making a face. "Oh, did I say the last part out loud?"

"Yep!" She answered. Oh oops!

"Hey, why aren't you sleeping?" I asked.

"Can't sleep, too many nightmares." she replied.

"Well, know that you're safe here, in my arms." I wrapped them around her in a hug. She leaned into my arms.

"Since, we're both up, let's just talk." she suggested.

"What about?" I asked.

"Do you remember our first date?" she inquired of me.

My mind went blank, just focusing on her beautiful face.

When I snapped back into reality, she was frowning. "How could you forget!" she asked.

"I, I --" I couldn't focus. Why was she getting so upset?

"I can't believe you, it was the picnic remember." she pouted.

She pulled away, leaving me cold. I grabbed her hand. "Wait, don't leave me. Three years, six months, one week, four days, seven hours, fifty-two minutes, and ten seconds we have been together." I replied. "I love that much!"

She stared at me blankly, I continued. "I have loved you every moment that I said."

She beamed, brighter than the sun. She jumped back into my arms where I could melt forever. I pulled back and caught each other's eye. I kissed her and it felt like my first time again.

Alli's POV

I awoke to the sound of footsteps. My had rested on Nathan, his arm wrapped protectively around me. I didn't have any nightmares. Gaby burst into the room.

"MORNING YOU 2 LOVEBIRDS!!" She noticed us wake up instantly.

"Did I interrupt anything?" Gaby asked.

"Nooo!" We both said.

"Ok, did I miss anything last night?"

"NOO!" we made clear even louder.

Siva joined Gaby. "Sup! Whoa, why are you..."

"NO!" Nathan yelled.

"Okay, okay." the couple said.

"Well, Laura and Aaron are exploring the IFA, well the parts we're allowed to see. Sophie and Hayden are in an argument right now. He hit on a little blonde teenager who was at the Never Shout Never concert and Sophie caught them."

I got up and sent Nathan back to his room to get changed. Once I was out fitted in a cute blouse and skinny jeans, Sophie bounded into my room. She was crying.

"Hayden and I called it quits." she sniffled.

"I heard he...." I said.

"Yeah," she interrupted. "Um, I'm going, t, to take a walk, I need to clear my head. Chloe wanted to blindfold me and guide me out and I'll call her again to bring me back. Apparently her plan is to cheer me up. IDK how she's gonna do that. I just, j, need a moment alone." she stated while letting the tears flow down her face.

Sophie's POV

"Why would you do this Hayden! After everything we have been through! Then, I go into your dressing room to wish you luck and I open the door and I see you sucking face with some dumb blonde caked with makeup! I'm very disappointed Hayden, please leave." I said.

"Sophia, I'm really sorr-" Hayden began saying, but I cut him off.

"I dont't want to hear it. Goodbye Hayden."

He walked out and I fell to the floor crying.

Chloe came and took me so I could think. In the car, I drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, I was still blindfolded. I stepped out of the car, I was engulfes in a hug and automatically knew who it was. It was my guy best friend, Jacob that I met on a cruise. We had a fling, but that's another story.

He took off my blindfold, lifted my chin and looked into my eyes.

"Don't cry. You're too pretty for that." In that moment, I realized Jacob was the one for me.

We both leaned closer and kissed.

"C'mon babe, let's go back." He grabbed my hand and we walked to the car.

Chloe sat there smirking. "Was I supposed to see that?" she asked, still smiling.

"Shut up." I told her.

"Hey Chloe." Jacob greeted her.

"Hey Jacob!" Chloe greeted back.

"So, Sophie, I'll drop you two off to the movies. I hear Warm Bodies is out!"

Then I have to go back to work." she stressed work. I understood. Don't blow her cover. Got it.

"You know, I have to set you up with someone, Chloe."

She blushed. She was hiding something.
