Chapter 22

Alli's POV

I entered the car crying. I still loved Nathan, But he had a girlfriend. He didn't love me anymore. Or does he? Does he still have feelings for me? My mind was going round and round.

"So!" someone interrupted my train of thought and I yelped. "Wow, relax woman!" Chloe continued.

"Chloe! You scared the jeepers out of me!"

"Do you want me to beat him up now?"

"No."

"Fine, I won't. Nico will." she said. "Nico." she called.

"Yea?"

"Go an...." she told him but I had interrupted,

"NO!" We are going back and continuing our lives! I just wasted three years of my life!" I yelled, even though I didn't mean it.

We headed to Logan's house. Once we got there we noticed another car. A visitor how wonderful.

"Alli!" Logan ran towards me. "I've missed you!"

"Me too."

When we entered the house, there was a boy sitting on the couch.

"Alli, this is Jake. Jake, this is Alli." Logan introduced us to each other.

We both shook our hands and started talking on the couch. It was as if we clicked. I loved the way he tousled his brown hair. It reminded me of Nath.

. And his eyes! OMG! This boy was hot! He seemed really nice.

"Movie time!" Logan yelled and brought popcorn. During the movie, Jake gently grabbed my hand. I didn't let go.

At the end of the night, Jake didn't want to let go. Logan let him walk me to the car after a serious scolding of 'dont hurt her or I will get you' talk. Chloe and Nico laughed at this.

"Trust me, anyone touches her, Chloe will take care of them." Nico said and followed Chloe to the car.

"So, do you want to go out some time?"

I was speechless. What about Nathan? I'm over him.

"Um, sure. Why not?!" I said trying to sound excited.

"That's great. So, I'll see you some other time?"

"Yeah."

Once I sat in the car, I felt myself smile. I was the sort of happiest girl at this very moment.
