Chapter 18

New York was unreal. The fans were so loud. Louise loved the atmosphere. It was electric.
Once the shows were done, the band had a few days before the tour continued up in Boston and then  Canada. They would all fly up there, and the bus would meet them. So they had to unpack the bus with what they needed. Brendon took the acoustic guitar, Louise got him for their first anniversary on tour. He went to the bus to bring it back to the hotel suite. As he walked to the bus, he felt like he was being followed. It was night time, after the show. There weren't many people about now. Brendon boarded the bus and retrieved his guitar.
Nicole was with Louise. They were sat in Nicoles hotel suite. They were sat chatting away and joking around.
"I miss having girl company." Nicole said.
"I know what you mean." Louise agreed. "I talk to my girls regularly, but its not the same as hanging with them."
"We need to stick together then."Nicole said. "We are the only 2 girls on that tour bus."
"Yep. Talking of which, who is that hairy they clog the shower up?"
"Dan." Nicole confirmed. Louise burst out laughing. "Although I nickname him Bigfoot, because he is tall and hairy."
"Stop!" Louise giggled, "you're going to make me pee."
Both women were falling about laughing, when there was a knock on Nicole's door. She opened it and Dan was stood there. Louise and Nicole looked at each other and burst out laughing again. Louise got up and yelled, "I need to pee!"
Brendon went past the door.
"Brendon!" Nicole called. "Lous in here."
Brendon stopped and turned around. He came in and waited. Nicole and Dan were talking. Louise reappeared, from the bathroom."Hi husband."
"Hello wife." He said smiling.
They then went to their suite and got ready for bed.
"Bren, can we go out somewhere tomorrow?" Louise asked once they were on bed. Louise was turned on her side, facing Brendon.
"I don't see why not." Brendon said, he was also turned on his side, facing Louise. "Where would you like to go?"
"Empire state building. And of course Macys"
"I had a feeling shopping would be involved" Brendon chuckled.
"I need to get some things for bubs and my hospital bag."
They said goodnight to each other and cuddled up.

New York was having a sweltering summer. It was mid-June. Louise was so hot. She said so to Brendon, and he agreed she was hot. She laughed when he said this. She was glad that Brendon still found her attractive. Being quite heavily pregnant made Louise a little self-conscious. Any insecurities she had though, were quashed, when she caught Brendon looking at her with so much desire. Or he would tell her she was sexy.
When they were intimate he always made her feel like she was the sexiest woman on the planet.
Brendon and Louise got dressed after their breakfast, and went to go get a cab to the Empire State building. Nicole and Mike tagged along too. Dan just wanted to chill in the hotel room today.
They had a great time exploring the building, looking at its history. They went to the top and viewed the city.
After that, they went and had some lunch, then went to Macys. Nicole and Louise headed for the nursery section. Louise picked up some white onesies, a few little hats and a baby shawl.
"I need some things for my hospital bag too." Louise told Nicole.
"Ok." They went to the section that catered for expectant or new mothers.
Louise picked up breast pads, maternity pads and some really unattractive underwear.
"Where the hell have the boys got to?" Nicole wondered, as they walked over to the register.
"No idea." Louise replied getting her credit card out.
As soon as she said that Brendon and Mike came into sight. Brendon was carrying a Macys bag.

Brendon and Mike went off on their own, in Macys.
"I want to get something special for Louise, to celebrate her becoming a mother." Brendon explained to Mike. " I won't have time between now and when tour ends, so today is as good a time as any."
"Ok, what do you have in mind?" Mike asked.
"Hmmm, a necklace or something." Brendon thought out loud. Both men headed towards the jewellery department. As they browsed, a sales assistant approached them.
"May I help you gentlemen?" She asked.
Brendon looked at her name tag.
"Hi, Yvonne. I am looking for something special."
"Ok, for someone special?" Yvonne hoped it would be his mom or sister. This guy was hot and she would quite like his number.
"My wife. She's expecting our first baby in August. I want something to celebrate her becoming a mom.:
"How lovely." Yvonne smiled. "May I guide 6 over to look at these charm bracelets that we carry? They are Pandora, of course."
Brendon looked at them. There was one that caught his eye. It was silver and was a bangle, rather than a bracelet.
"I like this one." Brendon said pointing at it.
"Excellent choice sir. Now what charms would you like?"
Brendon looked through the charms and chose a mother and baby one, a Mom one and a love heart. Yvonne gift wrapped them for him, and put them in a bag, as Brendon paid.
"Let's find the girls." Mike said. They walked towards, where Louise and Nicole had headed to.
Nicole was still in the nursery section. She wanted to get something today for the new baby. She wasn't big on shopping and wouldn't have time to get anything after tour, as she would be busy moving apartments.
Nicole browsed. A cute little toy elephant caught her eye. It was grey and so soft. She picked it up and also got a blanket to go with it.
