'Deadsoul.'

'I am Skyfire no longer.'

The newly named Darkhavener stared up at his new master, waiting for his next command.

He tried out his new name in his mind, repeating it like some twisted mantra.

'Deadsoul, Deadsoul, Deadsoul...'

"Rise." Lightningstrike's voice hissed in his ear, along with the flames that grew steadily in his mind.

"Rise, my new apprentice."

"Master." Deadsoul bowed his head.

"Because the Council never told you anything, I believe you are the only knight with no knowledge of this plot."

"When they know what has transpired here, they will kill us... along with all the Senators." Lightningstrike growled at Deadsoul, who blinked in agreement.

"The Council's next move will be against the Senate."

"Every single Dawnclan knight, including your friend, Hazeldusk, is now an enemy of the Republic."

Deadsoul hesitated at his former Master's name, but a Darkhavener does not dwell on the past. They move on.

Plus, didn't Lightningstrike just say they were a threat to the Republic? The one thing he swore to protect since he was a Padawan?

"I understand, Master." the brown tabby retorted.

"We must move quickly, for the knights of Dawnclan are relentless."

"If they are not all destroyed, it will be civil war without end."

"We really don't need another Clone Wars."

"Your first mission, Lord Deadsoul. Go to the Main camp of Dawnclan, do what must be done."

"I will deal with the others spread out in the Galaxy."

"Any more commands, Master?" Deadsoul asked.

"After you kill all the knights, go to Mustafar, the heart of Sky Mountain. Wipe out all the Separatists there." Lightningstrike fiddled with a piece of bloody flesh, setting it on fire.

"Once more, Darkhaven will rule the Galaxy!"

Lightningstrike stalked out of the Chancellor's office, his apprentice following closely behind.

"Do not hesitate."

"Show no mercy."

The destruction of Dawnclan was about to begin.

"Master Skyfire?" a small Padawan first saw the knight with his battalion storming behind him.

"What's happening?" another knight muttered to his friend.

"I have no idea."

"W-Wait. They're attacking-"

The Clones snarled, leaping at the flabbergasted knights with bared fangs and unsheathed claws.

Terrified screams tore at the night air, mingling with the roar of the flames as they burned the mangled corpses of the fallen.

Some tried to make a stand, yet their fruitless struggles died away as the Clone troopers swarmed over them like a vast silver tide.

A silver hurricane of death, taking away the lives of those who tried to oppose them.
