Serena's POV

I am currently in the main living room , video chatting with Sammy on a laptop that Finn got me. He even got me a new iPhone so I could always keep in contact with him. I never had nice things like this before. She was incredibly worried about me when she hadn't seen or heard from me since that night at the club.

"So are you sure your okay ??" She asked.

"Yes girl I'm perfectly fine. My hand hurts like hell but Finn took care of it ." I said and showed her my wrapped hand.

" What the fuck ? Whose Finn ? Is he the guy you were drinking with ? What happened to your hand ? I swear I'll kill your fucking parents dude." She rambled and it made me laugh. 

"Yes that's him and he actually saved me from them before things could get worse. And girl I don't know what it is but he Has this hold on me that I just can't shake and he so fucking hot too so that's a bonus." I said which made her laugh..

"Well girl I'm glad your safe. Maybe I can come visit you today after work if you want."

"I would love that. I actually quit my job ."

"What?! Why?"

"Finn said I don't need it anymore and he wants to make sure my parents can't ambush me anywhere. He even has guards for me at the house. It's insane ."

"That man is obsessed with you already." She giggled .

"Maybe and maybe I'm okay with that. I think I'm falling hard for him"

"Well I'm happy for you girl. Text me soon so I can see my bestie." We said our goodbyes and then I closed the laptop. I then decided to go find Finn. He said he'd be in his office if I needed anything and to be honest I wanted to see Sammy asap. So I was planning to ask him before I invited her over.

I approach his office and before I can knock on the door I hear a lot of grunting and shattering.

I open the door just a tad so I can see inside and I see Finn punching some guy tied to a chair.

"I don't have your money yet. I just need a little more time. " The man begged. His face bruised and bloody. It was sight that made my stomach turn.

"You've had a month Mr.Garrett. your time is up. " I even see that Damon and two other men are with him. And a tarp is underneath them. Oh my God. What are they doing ?

"If you let me go I promise not to resort to hurting your girlfriend ."

"Excuse me ?"

"It's no surprise. The infamous mob boss falling in love with a random slut he met at the bar. It's quite sad. She is almost just like Eliza. "

"Don't you dare...." Finn warns but the dude kept going..

"I'll maybe have to have my men pay her a visit. Maybe they can have some fun with her too. If you haven't destroyed her already. " Finn delivers another punch and some teeth fell out of the dudes mouth.

"You listen to me good... Nobody will ever lay hands on my girl and if you so much as try to harm her , I can promise you your death will be slow and painful.

"I will ruin you for what you have done to me Cole. I will take that one thing that matters most to you and gut her like a fish in front of you and fuck her corpse ." The man sneers and without second thought Finn takes his gun and shoots him right in the head.

I gasped and their eyes turn to me and I immediately make a run for it. I run into the main bathroom and locked the door. I slid down the door to sit down and I start to cry.

Is this really what he does for a living?? Can I really be in love with a killer?! What is wrong with me ? What am I going to do now ?

I started sobbing and suddenly there's a knock at the door.

"Baby girl it's me..can you please come out so we can talk about this." His voice was soft and gentle and I wanted to just run into his arms but I had to remain strong.

"No... please leave me alone...you killed that man...he didn't deserve that."

" He was a bad man baby.. you came in at the wrong time baby girl . You don't know the whole story ." I exhaled and wiped my tears away.

" Please Finn...I need a little time.. I don't know if I can handle this. " I could practically feel both of our hearts break when I said that. Was I going to leave Finn ? I didn't want to. I loved him too much.

"Okay baby..just come out when your ready...hopefully you'll want to talk this out because I don't wanna lose you already. Not after I just found you. Your everything to me Serena . " Then I could hear him walk away and it grew silent again.

I began to cry again. I never seen someone murdered before and I didn't know how to handle it. I didn't know what to say or what to do next. It's all new to me. I mean I knew he was a mob boss but I didn't know that killing was in the job description.

"Why does this have to happen to me ? Why can't things just be normal??" I groaned to myself and began rocking back and forth. .

Before I knew it , I fell asleep crying on the bathroom floor.

I woke up sore all over and I look at the time on my phone and see it's the next morning. Oh shit ! I didn't mean to sleep that long. I was supposed to see Sammy yesterday. Damn I better call her today.

My stomach growled and I decided to go get something to eat. I open the door and I was shocked to see Finn sitting on the floor beside the door. He was asleep. With dark circles under his eyes and his beard was staring to grow out. Was he waiting out here all night ?

"Finn...Finn ." I shook him awake and he smiled when he seen me.

"Hey .. are you okay ??"he asked and I sighed.

"I'm okay. Were you here all night ?"

"Yeah...I couldn't sleep without you and I was so worried about you. I wanted to be close in case you needed anything." My heart warmed at that and I decided to hear him out .

" Go get a shower and I'll make breakfast. But you have Lots of explaining to do."
