Sela
15 yearsShe dislikes professor Slughorn. All she sees is a snob, reaping whatever he can from who he deems worth the while. Why as the only girl, she joined his 'slug club' was to keep track of Tom.
Just in case he would do something unimaginable. He is capable of doing anything and everything. Knowing that her being there, would slow him down. She went.
"And Mr Longbottom took the potion. He walked wobbly for a week after that!" Slughorn exclaimed making Avery, Lestrange and Rosier laugh. But Tom only smirks and Sela stays expressionless.
"And you did not offer a helping hand professor?" She questioned.
"My! it was quite the show. I didn't want it to end now do I? If help was given he would've done it again!" More laughter came after that.
Sela nodded in anger but did not express it, instead she tap her fingers on the table.
"Let lose a little, Varton. Laughter is life." Avery spoke. She had always found him to be spoiled and annoying. Ever since they were children, he would not stop bugging her about his silly little adventures and such.
She did not respond and saw Tom had turn his head towards him, though not directly. Avery immediately goes silent.
Slughorn clears his throat. "Anyhow, that is all for today. You can all go back to rest."
Everyone bid their goodbyes, including her... except Tom.
As the professor preoccupied himself with some potion arrangements, Sela looked at Tom, furrowing her brows.
He stares back, before signalling his head towards the door.
Sela shook her head slowly, knowing that Tom is never driven with good intentions.
But she left still.
Giving Tom the time with Slughorn.
After all she has no means to control him.
She will take him as he is.
As long as he will not cross a line.
