Sela

16

School had ended for the year.

"Finally!" Exclaimed Remi.

It is not much of an excitement for her. Not when she has to go back to a place that reeks of eternal fire.

"Someone's missing mummy." Chahni spoke, making Louisa laugh and earns a glare from Remi.
He clears his throat.

"And what if I say I do?" He lifts his chin towards Chahni.

"Then you're a crybaby." She peaks her tongue at him before sprinting towards the train.
"You! Chahni!" Remi runs after her.

"Truly, they are both crying babies. Wouldn't you agree?" Louisa spoke.

"Indeed. They're a perfect match. Both are just too blind to see it." They both laugh.
"Who are a perfect match?" A voice belonging to a blonde boy spoke.

"Carlton! Hello." Sela greets while Louisa looks down to her feet.

"Back home huh? Finally I will get to go back home and read me-" he lend down to both the girls' heights.

"Some comics." He then plasters a smile.

Sela nudges at Louisa as she immediately blabbers.

"What's- what's a comic?" Louisa asked, while still looking down at her feet.

"It's magic. Well not literal magic, but it's full of magical things. Fantasy in fact." He looks to Sela to see her raising her eyebrows with amusement.

"Sorry that was childish I know I am childish. Shall we get going?" He spoke in flush.
"Yes yes, of course." Sela hardly contains her laughter.

Something that Sela so brilliantly loves about her friends was that they give her, her privacy. She so loves them for that.

They know to leave her alone every Saturday and Sunday to her solace. Or then she might explode on them. Again. Like the third year. And the three of them, including the Ravenclaw boy, does not want that again. It was menacing in their eyes.

Aside from the Saturdays and Sundays, it was the train ride. They shall leave her be, while she navigates a seat for herself. She needs it. She needs space and time to think.

The train begins to move forward as the greenery of Scotland comes into view. She hears the door slipping open. And somehow seeps of tiny red spots comes into her vision.

"Remi-"

Turning her head to only see Tom in his attire at the door.

Whatever anger seeping through earlier disintegrates.

He began to approach her form and sat right beside her.

"That is my spot." He told her.

"It does not have your name on it." She jabs back.

A smile begins to form on her lips and glints of amusement in his eyes.

For the first time, she laid her head on his shoulder while she continues to gaze at the scenery.
