The next day Rosita, Santiago, and Lady Danbury were in a carriage riding down to the garden. Rosita was taking breaths to calm her nerves. Santiago grabbed her hand to help her nerves calm down. "Rosita, vas a estar bien. No hay necesidad de preocuparse de esta manera. Anthony parece estar muy interesado en ti y no hay forma de que te abandone así." (Rosita, you're going to be okay. There is no need to be worrying like this. Anthony seems to be very interested in you and there is no way he'll abandon you like that.) Rosita looked at her brother and said, "¿Y si no cree que seré una pareja adecuada? ¿Qué pasa si no encuentro una coincidencia?" (What if he doesn't think I'll be a suitable match. What if I don't find a match?) Santiago said, "No hay necesidad de preocuparse. Disfrutemos del día que tenemos por delante. La empresa que se nos proporciona. ¿Vamos?" (There is no need for worry. Let's enjoy the day that is in front of us. The company that is provided for us. Shall we?) Rosita nodded. The carriage stopped. Santiago got out first and helped Lady Danbury and Rosita out of the carriage.
Santiago and Rosita walked over to the tents where they saw Eloise and Anthony sitting. Anthony looked in their direction as he stood up. He helped Eloise up as the sibling duo arrived to the picnic. "Princess Rosita, Prince Santiago." Anthony said. "Lord Bridgerton. Miss Bridgerton" Anthony walked over to Rosita taking her hand giving it a kiss. Rosita blushed, as Anthony wrapped her hand around his arm and brought her over to the tent. Eloise looked at Santiago and felt something she hadn't felt before. Santiago decided that he wanted to get to know Eloise, so he asked her to walk with him. Viscountess Bridgerton came with Eloise and Anthony so there were two escorts.
"How do you like London?" Anthony asked. Rosita looked around her and said, "It's as beautiful as Spain." Anthony nodded. "My brother Colin. He is the third oldest son of the Bridgerton household. His going to Spain for his travels." Rosita smiled. "Well, maybe I can tell Colin the best places to visit." Anthony smiled, taking her hand making her shy as he said, "I think he'll like that." Anthony grabbed cups of tea for him and Rosita and sat back down beside her. "Do you think Eloise is taking an interest to my brother?" Anthony looked at the couple and said, "I would assume. She would never walk with a gentleman without my mother forcing her too." Rosita seemed shocked by this. Anthony then asked Rosita to walk with him around the garden.
As they walked, they met with Eloise and Santiago. "Your majesties. We were wondering if you would like to come for dinner this Saturday. We are celebrating Anthony's birthday. I believe he would love for you to join us. It'll be our family and the Basset's." Lady Bridgerton said. Santiago looked at Rosita then back at Lady Bridgerton and said, "We would be honored Lady Bridgerton." Lady Bridgerton smiled and said, "Please call me Violet."
