"Hey, I've got a question. If freaky face over there is so powerful, then why can't he just make people stay here?" Angel asked. "Oh, trust me," Alastor's dark magic began to swirl around him as he smiled mischeviously. "I can." I butted in. "But~, that defeats the entire purpose. The hotel is for sinners who want their second chance. By forcing them, that's going against what Charlie would want." I explained, looking over to Charlie before she came back.
"Yes... YES!" She squealed. "What's going on, Charlie?" I smiled at her enthusiasm. "So, my dad just called, he said that the leader of the Angel Army wants to meet. He asked if I could go instead!" She exclaimed, jumping up and down. "But-but the extermination just happened!" Vaggie countered. "Vaggie's right. What would they possibly want now-"
"I can do this! Somehow I know it; I'll get Heaven behind my plan..." Charlie started singing. How often does she do this? "Charlie, hold on." Vaggie tried to call out to her. "There's just no way I could blow it. Not this once-in-a-lifetime chance!" She continued, running to the staircase. "It's just a meeting..." I added. "To change their minds and touch their hearts- or whatever angels have!" Charlie looked down at her hands hopefully. "This could be bad." Vaggie groaned. "Cheer up, Vaggie, this could be swell. Something tells me that today will be a happy day in Hell!" Charlie spun around with Vaggie before rushing off.
"Okay, but just don't sing to them." Vaggie suggested, still dizzy. "That bitch is halfway down the street!" Angel snickered, looking out the doorway with Alastor, Niffty, and I. "Is she?" Angel cut her off. "Oh, she's dancin'." He took a drink from his bottle. "Ah, no!" Vaggie groaned. We all watched as Charlie danced around her kingdom singing. "Should we... do something?" I asked everyone. "I suggest not, my dear." Alastor insisted, walking off.
As if she wasn't listening, Vaggie began rushing out of the hotel. "Yeah, nope. I'm not dealing with that." I walked back to the main room and pulled out my phone. "Hey, Vel," Angel called out. "Yeah?" I asked, not looking up from my phone. Angel walked to the couch and rested his elbows on it, looking down at me.
"If you don't mind me askin', how'd you get down here?" He flipped over the couch to sit next to me. "Uh..." I broke out in a cold sweat. "Hey, hey! You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He waved his hands, dismissing his question. "Lemme ask you this, then. How long have you been in Hell?" Angel asked. "Now that's a question I can answer." I laughed. "I've been here for a month and some change. Today was actually my first day exploring Hell, though." I messed with my nails as I looked around the hotel.
"You're serious?" Angel looked at me in pure disbelief. "Fuck it, let's go, Vel." Angel stood up, dusting himself off. "Where exactly are we going?" I stood up next to him. "I'm givin' you a tour, obviously. Now c'mon!" Angel put on his pink bedazzled sunglasses and dragged me out of the hotel.
*After the tour*
"So, how do you like Hell, Vel?" Angel asked enthusiastically. "It's... cool." I panted, out of breath. Angel had dragged me around Hell, not even bothering to let me breathe. "Angel, Velva, you're finally back!" Vaggie walked over to us. "Alright. Since Charlie's out doing something very important, the best thing we can do is try and make a commericical." Vaggie brought us to the main room where Alastor sat. "One that actually represents her vision and what we're doing here." Vaggie snuck a side-eye at Alastor.
"First, we'll need a camera. Alastor?" Vaggie fully turned to him. Alastor snapped his fingers, conjuring a camera for Vaggie. Only thing is, the camera was definitely old. A 1930's camera by the looks of it; Vaggie was clearly unamused. "Alastor, maybe a video camera would be better?" I suggested with a nervous laugh. Alastor hummed dismissively in response, but snapped his fingers again, a video camera appearing in my hand. Sure, it looked like shit, but it's the best we'd get.
