"Fuck, I should go check on Vox, Val, and Vette... I'll be right back!" I rushed out of the hotel and flew to the V Tower. I found Vox in his control room, watching the hotel. "You are sooooo in your stalking era right now, Voxxie. I would get you a therapist, but that wouldn't work." I leaned against his chair. "Velva, FUCK! What have I said about you doing that?" Vox turned to me. "Absolutely nothing. Now what the hell are you watching my friends for?" I asked, pulling up a chair and sitting next to Vox.
"Charming. But I just can't believe you guys are actually choosing to fight! Looks like Miss Bleeding Heart's plan didn't work out that well. I cannot wait to watch Alastor get FUCKED!" Vox laughed, kicking his legs. "I should slap yo bitch ass. And also, say pause." I crossed my arms. "You couldn't slap me if you wanted to." Vox smirked at me. "You wanna bet?" I raised one eyebrow, slowly lifting my hand towards Vox's face. He looked at my hand and slowly backed away, his expression becoming more and more nervous.
"Velva, there's no real need for violence," Vox laughed nervously. "Is there?" He tried to push my hand away. "That's what I thought." I stood up and put my chair back. "I'm gonna go find Val. Good luck stalking your ex-boyfriend, Voxxie." I left his control room and looked around for Val. I found him in his room, watching the news about the Extermination. "Hey, lil bro. You doin' okay?" I sat next to him as he squinted at the TV, not being able to see it well. "How do you think the Extermination's gonna go? With that little hotel group of yours?" Val asked, turning to me and un-squinting his eyes.
"I can only hope that this goes well. And if this goes bad... we're all done for." I looked down at my hands, not wanting the thought to become true. "Well, we'll watch you from here. Don't tell Vox or Velvette I said this, but I believe in you, hermana." Valentino smiled genuinely for once. "Thanks, Val. I'm glad at least one person does." I stood up and walked to Val's door, ready to go see Vette. "See you later, yeah?" Val nodded and I went to look for Vette. She was in her studio, stitching a badass outfit. "Hey, I see you aren't worried about the Extermination at all." I remarked, leaning against her doorway.
"I'm a bit busy, V! Gimmie a minute!" Vette insisted as she finished stitching the hem of the dress. Vette stuck a pin in the dress and walked over to me with measuring tape, nodding as she checked my measurements. "Made you a war outfit, because that," Vette pointed to my outfit which consisted of a white top with a heart shaped opening over the chest and a dark blue skirt with hearts of a darker blue at the bottom. "Isn't good for battle." Vette scoffed. "You have magic, right? Here, let me see how it looks." She handed me the outfit and crossed her arms, waiting on me.
I snapped my fingers and the outfits were swapped. The outfit Vette made for me was a pink dress with black hearts at the bottom, a black suit jacket with pink details over top with bell sleeves that were fully open at the wrist and a fluffy, pink material at the end of the sleeves. Paired with the dress were black opaque tights and black combat boots with a pink heel. Vette walked around me, examining my outfit and taking a mental picture. "Perfect!" She exclaimed. "Now, what were you saying?" She asked as she dusted off a few parts of the outfit.
"With how focused you were on this badass outfit, it looked like you didn't really care about the Extermination." I laughed. "I wouldn't say that, but I at least have some hope in Bleeding Heart's plan. Mostly 'cus you're in it, though. And since you are, you needed a better outfit than you had on if you're going to be representing the Vees." I rolled my eyes with a smile on my face at her statement. Velvette finally stepped back, fully admiring her work. "I am sooo good." She muttered to herself with a smirk. I felt my phone buzz and grabbed it to see a text from Charlie. 'The cannibals are good to go!' It read.
"Looks like that's my cue." I put my phone away and hugged Vette tightly. "Good luck out there, Vel." Vette said as I rushed out of the V Tower and flew back to the Hotel being careful not to hurt anyone on my way there. I landed in front of the cannibals who all stood with their own angelic weapons. Behind me was Charlie and Vaggie. "The cannibals look ready. Good job, you two." I said as I walked over to them. "Yeah. Are we, though?" Vaggie asked. Before anyone could answer, Pen came out of the hotel in a... questionable outfit. "Fear not, damsels. I shall have the staff ready for victorious combat!" He declared with his hands on his hips. I couldn't help but laugh at everything.
