After watching Angel's film for Show and Tell day, I went over to Husk's bar. "It's not a very convincing interrogation scene." Husk muttered. "Come to finally drink, Vel?" He asked as he wiped down the counter. "Mm, sure. Why not? Just gimmie something light. I have a feeling something's going sideways today." I laughed, looking at Angel. "Hey, don't start with your intuition bullshit. Nothing ever goes well when you do that." Angel pointed at me. "You really gonna sit there and act like these scripts ain't hot garbage?" Husk asked, changing the subject. Angel gasped. "Fuck you. This is classy art!" Angel gestured to the TV. I looked away before I saw something I didn't want to see.

"That's bullshit. You get drunk and bitch about them all the time. Everyone likes to bitch to the bartender. I know everything about you and these motherfuckers at this point. Except for Velva." Husk walked out of the bar after handing me my drink. "That one." He pointed to Pentious. "That one's an insecure buffoon whose lonely ass watches you idiots sleep. Princess is a bleeding heart who wants to solve everybody else's problems 'cept her own." Husk pointed to Charlie. "What?! No, I- what? Pff, no, no." Vaggie stared at her with an unreadable expression. "This one judges everyone and everything because she hates herself." Vaggie groans as Husk turned to Niffty.

"And Niffty? Heh, you don't even want to know what her deal is." Angel found this hilarious and laughed, kicking his legs. "You weren't kidding! Oh-ho, wow!" Angel sat on the arm of the couch next to Husk. "Kitten's got claws!" Angel put his hand under Husk's cheek, turning his head to him, meowing seductively. "And you!" Husk pulled out of Angel's grip, pointing at him. "Don't get me started. I see right through you and all this bullshit and how fake you are." Angel laughed. "Me? Fake? Wow, I had no idea. Guess that's why I'm an actor, dumbass. And-" Angel was cut off by his phone buzzing. The moment his smirk dropped, I knew it was Valentino.

"Well, uh... Looks like Val needs me for an, uh- emergency shoot." He lied. "How about I go with you. I have something to talk to Val about anyways." I muttered the last sentence. "Uh huh, sure." Husk grumbled, drinking from his bottle. "You know what? Fuck you. I don't give a shit what some drunk ass bartender thinks 'a me." Angel pulled out his shades from his chest fluff. That thing is like Mary Poppins' bag, damn! "So why don't you just crawl back to whatever cave you came from, porn critic. Let's go, Vels." Angel walked off, flipping off Husk in the process. "Angel, you can't leave yet. We haven't finished our excersises for today. And Vel, what are you leaving for?" Charlie asked the both of us, trying to bring us back to the main room with everyone else. "I'm sure you can manage without us, Char." I opened the door ready to leave, only to be interrupted by Charlie again.

"There isn't much time left for the hotel to prove itself." Charlie pleads. "Dollface, it's my job. I know you want to fix everything, but unless you can fix my boss, there's nothing you can do." Angel walked out. "Sorry, Charlie." I hugged her tightly and walked to the door, holding it open. I waved to Charlie before walking out. We made it to the Val's place and I opened the locked door with my key. "Val!" I shouted when I opened the door. "Wait, you have a key? Where'd you get that from, toots?" I stopped in my tracks. "Promise you won't tell the others? Especially Alastor?" I turned to Angel nervously.

"Uh, yeah." Angel took off his sunglasses as I closed the door. "The reason I have a key is," I took a deep breath. "Valentino... is my younger brother." I said quickly, wanting to get it over with. "You're serious?" Angel looked at me surprised. "Yeah. I know that should've been one of the first things I said when I introduced myself, but I was nervous. Val's hated by so many people, and I could only imagine what that would do to my image." I rubbed the back of my neck. Angel sat there, holding his chin. "Are you mad? I completely get it if you don-" Angel cut me off, putting his hand on my shoulder. "I ain't mad at you, doll face." Angel smiled at me, making me feel a bit better, my before tense muscles relaxed.

"But... why won't you tell anyone else?" Angel asked as he led me to his dressing room. "Well, it's... complicated. With Val being my brother, I'm kinda like the 4th Vee, and I already know that Alastor hates Vox, who's like one of my best friends, and the entire situation with Velvette and Carmilla at the recent Overlord's meeting was just... a lot. I'll tell them eventually, just... not now." I sighed, holding my arms. "I'll be right there for you when ya do, toots." Angel patted my back, opening the door to walk out of his dressing room and I stood up to follow him. "Thanks, Angel." I had a soft smile on my face.

We walked towards the studio where Val was already waiting, looking pissed. His scowl quickly changed to a smirk. "You brought my sister with you, how quaint. You go get ready amorcito, while I speak with my sister." Valentino turned to me. "Yes, Valentino." Angel said, not looking up at him before walking on set. "Any particular reason why you're here, hermana?" Val asked, sitting down in his chair. "Now that I think about it, not really." I tapped my chin before shrugging. Val's eye twitched before he spoke again. "Perfect. Because I actually need your help with something." Val snapped his fingers and a short black man in a dark gray trench coat and a small fedora in between his ears handed Valentino a small stack of papers. "You mean you got lazy and are leaving me to do your paperwork?" I looked at my younger brother, annoyed.

"I would never! I just need you to send those to Vox. I've been oh so busy with this shoot, I haven't had the time." I rolled my eyes, walking out of the studio to Vox's control room. Just as I thought, he sat right there watching all of Hell like some weird stalker. The main thing I saw, obviously, were glitchy screens whenever Alastor was present. "Still stalking the Radio Demon? C'mon, Voxxie. You're better than that." I caught him by surprise and he almost jumped out of his seat. "Oh, Velva. Shocked me there." He laughed, turning his seat to face me. "How can I help you this evening, my dear?" He asked, resting his arms on the arms of his chair. I held out the papers from Val. "From Valentino, I presume?" Vox inquired, looking at the fine red print. "Yep. Any way, I'm sure you've got that covered, so I'm gonna go. I have to help Vette out with some stuff. Love you Voxxie, bye!" I rushed out of his control room and headed to Velvette's room where all I could hear was her screaming.

"Let's go ladies! Chop, chop! Ah, fuck! Where is Vels when I fucking need her!?" She shouted as I slowly opened her door. "You called for me?" I closed the door back. All of the commotion immediately stopped as I said that. "Velva, took you long enough! Get over here!" She pointed to the podium for me to stand on, using her magic to choose between outfits. "Ew, no, yuck, fuck no, no, no, yes! That's it!" Velvette exclaimed at the outfit she picked out for me. It was a red suit with matching pants. Both the suit and the pants had small black and navy blue hearts on the ends of the sleeves and pants.

*After the show*

I walked into the hotel, absolutely exhausted. I went straight towards the bar, needing a drink, only for Husk to not be there. "He had like 3 bills, and it took 30 minutes to count them." Angel laughed, walking into the hotel with Husk. "His eyes are so shit!" I turned to the two. "Heh, and this is the guy you take orders from?" Husk chuckled. "I know! What a fucking joke, right?" I noticed Charlie run from the main room and hug Angel tightly. "I'm so sorry, Angel. I promise I won't ever, ever, ever, ever-" She sobbed as she held onto Angel. "Charlie, it's fine. I get it. Thanks... for caring about me." Charlie's eyes welled up with tears. "Ehh, I think this is yours." Angel picked Charlie up and handed her to Vaggie. "Okay missy, let's get you to bed.

"Did I miss something?" I asked with a small laugh as Charlie blubbered. "How 'bout we talk about it over a drink?" Angel offered, looking at Husk. "You read my mind." Husk laughed as we all walked to the bar.
