With the Extermination being a little over a day away, we went through the multiple weapons from Carmilla. Immediately, I was interested by wing plates made from the same material as Vaggie's spear. "How would you even use those?" Vaggie asked as she put them on my wings. "Carmilla should know, right? She created them, so she should." I thought, tapping my chin. "There's only one way to find out." Charlie shrugged. I'll be back as soon as I find out how to use these things.

I made it to Carmilla's home/factory and knocked on the front door. A camera came out the middle of the door and hovered in front of my face. "Uh, Ms. Carmine? My name's Velva, I came to ask for some guidance on how to use these." I held out one of my wings, showing the defensive armor. The camera retracted and the door slowly opened. Weird... I walked inside and looked around the dark room.

"Uh, Carmilla?" I said as I looked around. "First Vaggie, now you. What do you want? 30 seconds to explain." I looked up to see Carmine walking on the mezzanine. "So you did this to Vaggie, too, I'm guessing." I muttered to myself before shaking my head. "Look, Ms. Carmine. I just want help learning how to use this wing armor." I looked up to her as she reached the stairs. "Time's up. Follow me." Carmilla basically vanished from where she just stood, catching me off guard.

I found her on the roof, looking down at a complete view of the Pride Ring. I turned away to look for Carmilla and out of nowhere an apple came towards me. I yelped and dodged it, tucking my wings as I did. "Excorcists move quickly and swiftly, ready to attack at every given chance." I heard Carmilla's voice as another apple came towards me. This time instead of dodging, I sheilded myself with my wings, watching as the apple shot back to where it came from.

"The armor has deflecting abilities. Use this with every advantage you find." Several apples came towards me, and I dodged two, the edge of my wing slicing the last one. "Good. Now learn how to attack rather than dodge and deflect." Carmilla insisted as more apples flew towards me. With a movement of my wings, I sliced the three apples in halves, their juices covering the metal. "You might actually be able to do this." Carmilla finally came into view with a basket full of apples.

"Now try it while you're airborne." I nodded and flew into the air, hovering above her. Carmilla jumped to my height and tossed all of the apples into the air. I flew around them all, spreading my wings at different lengths before landing on the ground, the apples all falling after. "You're ready, Velva. Good luck to you and that group. You know where to find me if you need me." Carmilla bowed before leaving.

I flew to a nearby store and got some celebratory drinks to bring back to the hotel. "Hey, you gotta pay for those, whore!" A small imp shouted. I stopped where I was, turned to him and slowly walked towards him. "I'd rather not. It's not like my payment for the booze is keeping your sorry ass alive during the Extermination. I could always kill you and leave anyways." I held my wings dangerously close to his neck. A small trickle of blood coming from his neck.

"Enjoy, heh!" The imp laughed nervously as I tucked my wings. "I'm glad we agree." I smiled, leaving the store and heading back to the hotel. "Look what I brought!" I cheered, holding up the drinks I just got. Husk and Angel laughed happily as I walked over to the two. "So, how'd the thing with Carmine go?" Husk asked, looking for a corkscrew. "Pretty good. I should be able to slice angels as easy as pie." I said, handing Husk the bottle. He opened the bottle and poured enough for everyone into our glasses. "Cheers to that!" Angel cheered, making me laugh as we held up our wine glasses for the toast.

I felt my phone buzz and looked at the news notification I received about Hell freaking out about the Extermination to come. "Oh, fuck!" I exclaimed, looking at multiple pictures of demons hiding themselves. "It's as if people don't know we're plannin' to fight." Angel rolled his eyes as he looked over my shoulder. "Well, you can't expect much from most sinners." I shrugged, putting my phone away. Speaking of phone...
