I woke up with a headache and walked downstairs to get some water. From the top of the stairs, I could hear quiet muttering. I thought I was going crazy, so I ignored it and kept walking down the stairs. The farther down I went, the louder the muttering got. "Hello?" The moment I asked the question, I regretted it. I sound like that one girl in a horror movie. I rolled my eyes. I walked to the kitchen and poured my glass of water before going towards the muttering. Charlie was downstairs in the main room with sticky notes everywhere and red string connecting them all.

"Charlie?" I called out to her, setting my water down. "Hey, Velva. What's up?" She asked before going back to muttering, moving around the entire board, including the board next to it. "Uh, are you... okay? And... what's all this?" I gestured to the boards. "Just something I've been working on, and I'm so close to figuring it out!" Charlie went back to muttering. I watched her... process as Husk, Niffty, and Pentious came a while after each other. Finally, Vaggie was downstairs. "Charlie?" Vaggie asked. "I'm just not quite understanding why it's not working. Okay, okay, think Charlie. Think, think, think, think, think, think, think, think. Okay, if I do this, it's going to be-" Charlie gasped. "I have trust falls every single morning. We can do-" Charlie muttered to herself instead of answering Vaggie. "Yikes." Angel peered from the side of the couch at Charlie's panicked state.

"How long has she been like this?" Vaggie asked out loud. "Since, like, 5 this morning. I got up to get some water and found her like this. So, she was probably up all night or longer." I sighed, feeling bad for Charlie. "Charlie?... Sweetie? You, uh, you good?" Vaggie asked nervously. "Nope, no! Not really!" Charlie laughed, finally turning around, further revealing her sleep-deprived state. With an insane look in her eyes and red veins clear as day. "I've been up all night trying to figure out why the hotel isn't working." She crushed a piece of paper in her first. "We've done trust falls, we've tried sharing our feelings." The ground began to shake. "We only have a couple months left before the angels come-" She turned back to us in her demonic form, laughing maniacally. "And at this rate..." Vaggie stopped her sentence as Charlie turned back to the boards.

"Maybe it's time-" Charlie cut Vaggie off, turning her head towards her. "NO." She pleaded, leaning over the couch. "To ask..." Charlie cupped Vaggie's cheeks. "Don't say it!" Charlie pleaded, her eyes wide. "Your dad." Vaggie pulled Charlie's hands off her face. Charlie groaned, sinking on the couch, knowing that Vaggie was right. Before anything else could happen, my phone rang. "Sorry about that, lemme just get this." I walked out of the main room to answer my phone. "Hello?" I answered. "Vels! Thank Satan you answered!" It was Vette. "Hey, Vette. Is... everything okay? You never call this early." I looked back at the group as they talked to Charlie.

"Yeah, I know. The boys had another argument and can't even stand to look at each other without making a mess! They trashed my room and my studio! I could really use your help." I heard Velvette's sigh through the phone. "Yeah, I'll be there in a minute." I hung up and rushed out of the hotel back to the V Tower.

*An hour and a half later*

I collapsed on Vette's couch, exhausted. "Who knew those two could make such a mess?" I groaned. "Thanks a bunch for the help, Vels." Velvette handed me a bottle of water and I chugged it down pretty quickly. "Welp, I better head back to the hotel." I stood up, stretching. "Have fun!" Vette exclaimed as we hugged each other. "Bye!" I jogged back to the hotel. "I'm ba-" I was cut off by loan sharks hitting the hotel's doors with a huge log. "What the fuck?" I stepped back, not wanting to run into them. "A reminder to all not to mess with the Radio Demon!" I heard Alastor's sinister laugh from inside the hotel as a green aura spread around the building.

I watched as Alastor climbed out of the hotel in his demon form with tentacle-like appendages spearing the sharks quickly, just barely missing me. "Alastor! Jeez, I'm right here! You almost killed me!" I shouted to him as he shrunk back down to normal size. "My apologies, my dear. But it has been quite a while since I've been able to let off steam!" He twirled his staff, holding his hands behind his back as a small woman came out from behind a pole. "Oh, Alastor! What a fantastic show! Bravo, as always! Thanks for helpin' lil old me out of a tough spot, you're always such a pal." She flinched as a piece of a railroad fell next to her. "Oops. Heheheh... sorry about the mess, but I'm sure the lil bug can take of it for ya." Mimzy chuckled, turning back towards the hotel.
