No water...

"Brent!" I shout.

{Babe, you brought me around a few minutes ago.

Everything, afterward, is a bluff.

I'm not feeling any urges to kill, okay.

I think she got the message.

I just want her gone from our home.} He thinks.

I feel relief and hold my fearful expression to not let on that anything has changed.

Dad seems to know that Brent isn't really a loose cannon.

Mom is totally bought into it, though, and looks like she's waiting for anything to happen.

Theresa starts walking away, rubbing her neck but... why does she look so... arroused...?

She looks at me.

"He's not like that with you, is he?"

"No."

"Too bad... He makes a good dom....." She says with a dreamy look in her eyes.

Brent looks at his hands disgustedly.

After Theresa leaves, he runs to the sink and washes his hands.

That done, he dries them and shudders, completely grossed out.

Suddenly remembering Rebecca, he walks over to her and pulls a chair in front of her.

"Sorry about that sideshow... now, let's run a full spectrum analysis..."

"Sideshow!?" Rebecca demanded.

"Well, yes.

After Josie called my name the first time, I only pretended to be aggressive and murderous.

None of it was how I actually felt anymore." He says as his eyes glow brightly.

"Oh, hell! You have a tumor on your heart!" He exclaims, holding his hand toward her.

"Extract." He says and it appears in his hand.

"Cauterize."

The internal injury stops bleeding.

His eyes started glowing green and I don't remember ever seeing that before.

"You have slight neural degradation...

Bolster." He says

"Ow!" Rebecca shouts.

"Sorry. I'm new to neuro-surgery.

I only recently discovered the ability the other day.

Have you had any difficulty moving, at all?"

"Yes. My left arm, I can't raise it above my shoulder.

"Try it now." Brent says.

She does and is able to raise her left arm straight upward.

"Oh, good.

I was able to fix the issue after all."

Brent's eyes glow crimson once more and he scans her thoroughly.

"Okay, you're all set.

No more injuries or ailments.

Holly, show miss Rebecca to her new room, please."

Holly nodded and climbed up into Rebecca's arms.

The front of the house faces South.

The recently healed woman stood and smiled as Holly pointed toward the west hallway door.
