Elizabeth, my cousin, arrives at ten o'clock and knocks at the door.

"It's unlocked!" Holly shouts.

She walks in and smiles, hugging me.

"Hey!" She cheerfully says.

A guy walks in behind her, pulling her case of tattoo gear.

"Who's this?" I ask.

"He's my assistant, Brendan." She says.

"So, you're still unmarried?"

"Yep. I haven't met anyone who isn't a fantasizer.

All they want is sex with a white otter.

Now, if you were asking..."

"I'm married and we're cousins."

"The first one, I respect.

The second one makes no sense between human and morph.

Anyway, whenever you're ready, we can get to it." She winks.

I look at Josie..

I thought that she'd be furious but, she laughs as she sits a stool in front of the couch...?

"Josie! Why are you laughing?"

"Anyone else and I'd expect to see them all but flying through the door.

Her?

She's got you by the balls and you know it.

Honestly, she's the only person I think I'd be comfortable sharing you with but, if it actually happened, I don't know how I'd feel.

I love you, Brent, and I want you to myself.

That said, I do like Elizabeth."

"No! I'm sorry but, that's not happening!" I shout.

"We know!" They say together.

"We just wanted to see how flustered you'd get." Elizabeth laughed.

Josie came to stand in front of me.

"That said, would you like me to take care of that now, or later?" She asks, pointing at my tented pants.

"Ooh! I might want to join!" Elizabeth teases.

I reach down and pull my pants up, tightening my belt a bit.

"There! Taken care of!

Dammit! You two planned this!"

"Not really, it's all in fun." Elizabeth smiled, taking her case to the couch.

I sit down on the stool, painfully reminded of my past.

....

"Hah! Look at you! Worthless alien bastard, how dare you sit at the table?" My mom sneers.

"You told me to sit here." I say.

My dad sits a plate of food in front of me and grabs my hair, picking me up out of the chair.

"Aliens don't deserve beef.

Eat the dog's food, if you're hungry!"

He threw me to the floor and sat down.

....

My family, now, is nothing like that, even when teasing me, they're not malicious about it.

I turn around and hug my cousin.

"Thank you."

"Wh-what for!?" She demands, just as flustered as she and Josie made me.

"Brent! What are you doing!?" Josie growls.
