Sun and Moon| Luke Castellan Story

Chapter 10

When we got back to the Cabin we saw this new kid. He had curly blond hair and looked like he's was 12 to 13. He was talking with Luke, Chris and the other boys in Hermes cabin. The kid looked kinda nervous and tired which reminds me of Kai before he has a game.

Me, Moi, and Kai saw him and Luke shake hands and I guess it really is Luke's job to help new kids out. But the kid really does looked tired like he had just been through hell and he also looks sad not the kind of sad like crying but the kind of sad that looks dead I know that's kinda rude but homeboy really looks dead and tired. But it is getting late so hopefully he'll get some sleep to feel better or something.

The next morning when I woke up I was a bit grumpy and in a pissed mood as I'm not a morning person and so are my brothers but not as bad as me. None was really awake as I woke up at the most TERRIBLE time to be awake so I just got ready and walked out the cabin which probably isn't the best idea considering I didn't really pay attention to Luke's tour and I only remembered where the archery range is and the forest so I just climbed the same tree and stayed there.

If you're wondering why I climb trees it's because I do deal with it and I grew up on an island so there that's my excuse. After a while the sun finally started to come up and it actually looked like morning and some campers started coming out of their cabins then I saw the new kid Percy come out with Luke and Chris I think from now on I'm going to start calling them thing 1 and thing 2.

I got down from the tree and started walking around wandering around. I saw Clarisse knock down the kid Percy which I don't know why but it just seems like she bullies every new kid or she just has a bad attitude or maybe both, it's problems both. I started waking around and saw Cleo sitting by the lake and I went to sit with her.

"What's up dude." I said as I placed a hand in her shoulder and sat next to her

"Hey Koa. Aren't you supposed to be at archery or the Greek lessons for learning Greek?"

"I am?" I sort of knew I was supposed to be somewhere and not wandering around but here's the thing I don't care and if I get in trouble I get in trouble.

"Um yeah you're supposed to be in one of those two places most likely archery since Luke is there and he's helping the new kid and your brothers are heading down there too."

I just had a sort of 'dead' expression on my face since I didn't really want to go and Cleo could probably tell. "Koa are you avoiding it on purpose?" She asked me

"Yes." I said straight out and blunt.

"Well c'mon let's go." She grabbed my hand and lead me to the archery area, place, range whatever it's called I don't care I just don't want to be here.

Cleo brought me to where all the campers were around the archery area and she dropped me off like a child going to school. Then she told Chris to not let me go anywhere and escape since she knows I've been known for skipping classes and just leaving without anyone noticing. Chris chuckled as he explained that to him so I just walked off embarrassed to where my brothers are.

Me, my brothers, Chris and some other campers were just standing off to the side talking as Luke was helping out Percy and not going to lie he was struggling. I'm not trying to judge but he looked like he needed help a girl wanted to light his arrow on fire but he told her that she shouldn't.

I wasn't really paying attention to what was happening then out of nowhere BOOM! everyone I was standing with including me all went to the ground. My life literally flashed before my eyes because that was Percy's arrow that was shot towards everyone and when I looked at him homeboy was on the ground too.

"Should I try again?" He asked 

"NO!" every one said.

I don't why I just started laughing not that I found it funny that he almost killed everyone but he wanted to try again I mean A for effort dude. 

"Koa are you okay?!?" Moi asked and he seemed concerned.

"Y-Yeah." I said with still a couple giggles in.

"Stupid." Kai said as he flicked my forehead. I just stuck my tongue out at him playfully which made him laugh a bit.

"Oh Percy this are the Ofa triplets Moi, Kai, and Koa they got here about a day or two before you got here." Luke said while gesturing to us on the ground. I smiled and waved at the kid, he just did an awkward wave back.

I got up from the floor and I didn't really know what to do after that incident so I just stood there like an idiot. After a while everyone went over to the pavilion I think that's what it's called but whatever I don't care to remember , every headed over there for lunch. Me and my brothers sat at a separate table than Luke, Chris, and Percy.
