Sun and Moon| Luke Castellan Story

Chapter 24

Like an hour, or two after they left I was just sitting there in silence, in till I decided I couldn't just sit here. So I got up, got ready, and I headed out of the infirmary outside. When I walked outside I started to head over to the pavilion, where I saw Cleo.

She looked me up and down, not gonna lie she seemed surprised to see me. "I thought you were on bed rest?" She said as she questioned me. 

"Well my brothers want me to be, but I'm not just gonna lay down all day. Why would I do that?" 

"Because you need the rest. Luke was really worried about you after last night... do you even remember what happened?" 

"Yeah." She raised an eyebrow at me like she knows I'm lying. "Only a little." I finally say, as I want her to stop looking at me like she's gonna give me a lecture.

"Luke was really worried about you, hell he was even scared, and he's never gets scared." After she said that last part it made me worry, and want to see how he is. "He didn't leave your side till your brothers got there, Koa he really cares about you, he maybe likes you too." 

I snickered at the last part she said. "Him, Luke Castellan, the head counselor for Hermes cabin, the best swordsman in this whole camp like me? A girl from the islands, who CAN'T control her emotions! Yeah I seemed real great to like..."

"C'mon Koa, Luke doesn't care about that stuff, I've known him for years, plus he seems like he LOVES being around youuu." That last part she said in a teasing tone which made me roll my eyes. "If you can't see he likes you, then you're so blind."

"The fuck did you just say?"

"I'm just saying, that he likes you, and you're kinda blind to not see it. Also don't fucking curse at me!"

When she said that part I got nervous since, I've never really hear Cleo get annoyed like that, and now I know why, because she looks like she could kill someone. 

"Sorry, but he DOESN'T like me!"

"Girl, will you hush!" I went quiet after that, and a bit nervous then she started to talk again. "He does like you, why do you think he was so worried, or didn't leave your side till your brothers pulled him away to get some rest? It's obvious he cares about you, he thought it was his fault that happened to you. He's probably worried sick, and the fact that you can't seem to see that means you're blind as fuck! So shut your trap and listen to me." 

I didn't say one word after that, not one the truth is I don't really know how to deal with how someone else's feeling for me, heck I don't even know how to deal with my own feelings. But Cleo is right I do like Luke, he's the first guy I've ever caught feelings for, and the first person I've actually really opened up to. I mean sure I open up to my brothers, and Cleo but Luke...

Now he's a different story he's not someone I was close with, he was just a stranger at first. But now I think about him constantly maybe it is a crush, or maybe a little more than that but I do know that I like him.

"You're right Cleo..." I say as she stopped talking and waited for my answer.

"Of course I am, I'm always right. Now you are gonna talk to that damn boy and let him know how you feel!" 

"Wait what?" 

Before I knew it she grabbed my hand and was trying to find Luke and when she did, she shoved me right into him.
