Chapter 27

We started walking over to where the chaos was happening, and I don't know why but I started feeling a bit jittery. My hands started hurting, and my eyes would get blurry every few seconds, I don't know if this was normal or not but I do not feel good.

"Koa, you okay?" Luke asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine." I tell him, but he looks like he's starting me down, and can see right through it.

"You sure? You don't look okay."

"Ouch that hurt." I say as I try to get him to change the subject.

"That's not what I meant. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay, I'm perfectly fine." He didn't mention anything after that. We started walking, and we both heard a crash. Me and Luke both looked towards each other then sprinted to what was going on.

Everyone was getting in each other's faces, while Chiron, and some saytrs were trying to stop them. I look over to see Clarisse being held back by Chris while Moi, is trying to hold Kai back.

I run over to see what was happening. When I get over there I see Kai has a cut, and some blood trickling down his forehead. My heart dropped as I got worried about what happened to him.

I can see on the ground next to him that there's a knife... a knife? It was also Clarisse's! She threw the fucking knife at him?!?

"Look I didn't mean to throw it at you!" She shouted at him.

"Oh really? Then who did you mean to throw it at? The tree behind me!" Kai sounded really mad, and he hasn't been this mad in a long time.

"Kai! Just calm down she didn't mean to okay?" Moi said as he tried to calm him down. I see Luke coming towards us to see what's happening.

"Woah, what happened?" He said as he looked between everyone. His eyes land on Kai, and I can tell he's inspecting the cut. "Kai, are you okay?"

"I'm fine!"

"Then why are complaining, like a whiny baby!" Clarisse says.

"Maybe because someone threw a fucking knife at my head!"

"Oh, stop whining it's like I killed you, plus it was an accident!"

"You still didn't even apologize!"

They kept going back in forth till I just got tired of it and shouted.

"SHUT IT!" After I did I don't know how or why but a purple fire formed around me. I fell straight to the floor, seeing it get big, and bigger as I got more panicked.

"Koa?" I heard Chiron call out. "Koa, you need to calm down."

"Yeah well that's a lot easier said then done!" After I said that the fire got bigger, and I let out a scream.

"Koa? Are you okay?" I hear Luke call out, and I couldn't help but let out a sarcastic response, as I am panicking.

"Oh yeah, I'm definitely not panicking by the second! What do you think!"

I can see faintly throw the flames that Luke tries to get through, to me but can't and burns his hands.

"Luke! Are you alright?" I ask, as the flames start getting bigger.

"I'm okay, but Koa you need to calm down."

"I'm trying! I just...can't..."

"Ko, don't say that!" I hear Moi say. "C'mon you're the toughest girl I know, and I know you're tired...but if you seriously can't do this me, and Kai will come and there to get you!"

"Moi don't, I don't want either one of you getting hurt!"

"Too late." I hear Kai say and I see them both make their way through the flames, and surprisingly they didn't get burned like Luke. Kai grabbed my hand to get me to stand up, and all three of us tried to walk out of the flames but it kept getting worse which made me panic more.

"Ko, calm down. You need to calm down so we can get you out of here." Moi says. I start taking deep breaths, and I can see them both looking at me confused, and I look at them a little confused because Moi's eyes are glowing green while Kai's eyes are glowing red.

The fire changes from purple to red, green, and purple. After it changes color it starts go down, and disappear. We moved from where we were standing and everyone gasped, and looked shocked which confused me, and my brothers.

"Guys, look up." Chris told us, and we did... there was two crossroad torches above the three of us.

"That's, not possible... Chiron?" Clarisse said, she seemed confused and concerned.

"You've been claimed by Hecate. Goddess of witch craft, magic, the moon, night, and cross roads..." Chiron announces.
