Madeleine walked down the hall clutching her books with Mercedes, Artie, Tina and Kurt.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like we have a real shot at regionals?"
Mercedes asks excitedly.

"I heard Vocal Adrenaline has lost a step, the judges know their tricks. Plus we have Jesse now, their best performer."
Artie states.

"Lucky us."
Madeleine says rolling her eyes.

"Woah Mads, you really hate him- you don't hate anyone!"
Tina states.

"I just think he's fake-"

Rachel slides into the hall.

"Come to the auditorium, it's an emergancy!"
She demands.

We walk in to see Vocal Adrenaline standing on our stage, along with Jesse.

"Did I call it or what!" Madeleine groans.

"Hey Valerie." Jesse says simply.

Thomas holds his sister back from him.

"Jesse, what are you doing up there with them?" Rachel gasps.

"I transferred back." Jesse says simply.

"Thank god."
Madeleine mutters under her breath so nobody but Thomas could hear.

"What happened between you two?"
He asks.

Valerie Parker- in all her 'edgy' glory. Stormed down the streets of Cleveland, she may have become a stone cold bitch over the past few months- but there was one place she kept it on the lowdown. That was the School of Music, where she taught 8-10 year olds how to sing, it was the only part of the week she looked forward to- unless there was some sort of party she could get drunk at and forget all her issues.

"Vallie!"

Valerie beams when she turns and sees her biggest supporter beaming up at her.

"Hello Eden. Have you been practicing like I told you?"

Valerie places her bags down and allows the girl to lead her to the room where the other children were. The parents of these kids weren't a fan of her, especially after her drastic change. But luckily for Valerie the owner of the school refused to let the parents dictate the school, So Valerie stayed.

"So! Should we work on our Annie songs?"

Valerie asks with a smile and they all cheer.

After lesson, Eden was the last child to be collected.

"Did mommy or daddy say they'd be late?"
Valerie asks the girl softly.

"It's my brother picking me up today!"
Eden replies happily.

Valerie groans as the man himself struts into the building.

"Valerie! Glad to have caught you- Edie get in the car honey."

Eden hops outside and Valerie backs up as Jesse approaches her.

"It was no a month ago, it's still no." She hisses.

"Hey, Hey! That's not what I'm asking... okay I was gonna ask that too but you cleared that one up. I wanted to invite you to join Carmel High. I saw you dancing in the studio and I thought it was fabulous."
Jesse offers.

"No thanks. I don't dance."
Valerie says simply.

"I disagree there."
Jesse's eyes twinkle.
