Madeleine walked into Glee Club late, she rolled her eyes at Mr Schue who called her out on it and plonked herself down beside Kurt.
"Mr Schue? I have something to say." Finn says raising his hand and standing up.
"Something happened to me and it's shaken me." He continues.
"Oh my god, he's coming out!" Puck interrupts.
"Well yes! There is a man who has recently come into my life, and that man is Jesus Christ. So I thought maybe we could pay tribute to him." Finn suggests, Madeleine exchanges a look with Mike, her eyebrows furrowed.
"Sorry, but if I wanted to sing about Jesus, I'd go to church. Most churches don't think very much of gay people... or women- or science" Kurt interjects.
"I don't see why we can't. I had a really hard year and I turned to god, I for one would like to say thanks." Quinn shares.
"Thanks for what? That it didn't come out a lizard baby?" Santana snaps and Madeleine holds her tongue.
"Whenever I pray I fall asleep." Brittany adds.
"Well guys, maybe our songs don't have to be about Jesus, but we could do spirituality."

Kurt was pulled out of his class towards the end of the day, Madeleine knew that look on Mr Schue and Ms Pillsbury's faces too well. As he walked out Maddie reached out to squeeze his hand and kept her phone on to hear any updates.
When Madeleine returned home that day, she smiled noticing her father's car was not in the driveway. Isabel's school bus pulled up moments after Madeleine got home so she grabbed her sister and they drove to the place she had become so familiar with. She parked up and grabbed her sisters hand as they walked through the bright, clean halls of the hospital.
"Afternoon Madeleine and Isabel." An older-lady spoke standing at reception.
"Hello Edith... any improvement?" Maddie asks a hint of hope in her voice.
"Sorry honey. Go right ahead." Edith points to the room at the end of the corridor, the sisters walk down the hall, hand in hand. Madeleine waves at the tall man leaving the room.
"Hi Dr Lopez. Is she okay?" Madeleine asks wrapping her arms around Isabel.
"She's doing the same as yesterday- don't take this as a bad sign. Keep remembering she's not getting any worse." The man says with a smile leaving the sisters.
"Hi Mommy." Isabel cooes walking over to the hospital bed.
Andrea Parker lay motionless in the bed, wires were attached to every part of her body. The cuts and gashes had healed over the summer but the woman still hadn't woken from her coma. The doctors didn't know if she ever would.
"I got a reward at school for sports-day, remember you promised me you'd come to my gymnastic competition? It's in a month... maybe you can wake up for it?" Isabel asks stroking her mothers face allowing the years to flow.
Madeleine rarely cried thinking about her mother, she was more just bottled up with grief. The last thing she ever said to her mom was that she was an embarrassment. Thomas was also not handling the situation well, but the twins coped very differently- Tom would come to the hospital as often as he could and he would lay with his mother and sob. Apologising over and over for how horrible he treated her.
Madeleine grabbed a cloth and cleaned her mothers face, the Parker children resembled their mother so clearly. The hair and eyes, even right down to their nose and mouth shapes. Madeleine blinked quickly stopping any tears from flowing as she held her mothers hand, unaware Mr Schue and Ms Pillsbury were watching at the door.
