𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧, 𝐑𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬

Sam braced himself before walking towards Madeleine Parker- if he was being honest, he was pretty scared of her. He didn't know her when everyone else did, they all described her as a sweetheart but that's not what she was recently. He saw her at the motel he was currently living at with his family ever since his dad lost his job, he was terrified she'd start spreading rumours. He shook off his fear and walked up to her.

"Hi, Madeleine!" He says with a smile.

The girl shuts her locker and examines him with her eyes.

"Hey Sam." She replies with a smile that Sam usually didn't see sporting her face.

"Look- I don't know why you were at the Motel that night but-" Sam starts.

"Listen, I'm not going to start blabbing to everyone that you're staying in a Motel. Trust me, I may be a bitch but I know what it's like being in a shitty family situation. Are you doing okay?" She asks kindly.

"Not really, dad's desperate to find and job and it's so hard keeping my brother and sister quiet at night because then everyone gets angry... it's really hard." He admits.

Madeleine gives him a smile and links arms with him as they walk down the halls.

"Listen, let me come round some time. I can bring my sisters old clothes, your brother and sister can also come over to my house anytime to play with Isabel. She loves making friends."

"Mads! Have you seen this!" Santana yells from across the hall holding a newspaper.

Madeleine grabbed it and read through it.

"What does this even mean?" She gasps.

"Our sweet Brittany told everyone on that show of hers that we play for the other team? It's all anyone is talking about."

Madeleine's heart drops, she trusted Brittany to not say anything about her sexuality- what would Dallas say? Madeleine allows the angry girl to drag her into Glee Club.

"This is all your fault! You told everyone that Mads and I play for another team on your ridiculous melted cheese show!" Santana yells waving the paper at Brittany.

"Wait you're mad? You do both play for another team, you were on the Cheerios and now only in the new directions?" Brittany explains

"You couldn't have found another way to say that?" Maddie exclaims much calmer than before.

Santana flounces off to the seat in the corner and Madeleine can't lie, she found her adorable in her little overalls. She did however stop herself from sitting next to the girl and instead sat beside her brother.

April Rhodes walks in alongside Mr Schue.

"Twins! Glad to see you guys aren't in a feud like last time, how is your Mama?" She asks happily.

"Comatose." Madeleine says coldly.

"What the hell happened?" April exclaimed sadly.

"Drunk driving, she drove into a building." Thomas mutters.

"Well, I am so sorry." April says sincerely.

"This week everyone, we are done with the rumors and gossip. We will chanel all our energy to work together."

Madeleine walks out of the Glee Club and bumps straight into Dallas.

"Hey! I missed you this morning, where were you?" She asks him happily leaning in for a kiss which he swerves away.

"I decided to ditch you, just like you ditched me last night." The boy says coldly.

"Sorry?" Madeleine snaps.
