My head hurts like absolute hell.

I wake up, rubbing my eyes before looking over at my boyfriend, who is sleeping right up next to me, his arm rested underneath my head. I smile as I gaze lovingly up at him, bare chested and.. black haired? Wait a second.

I cast around quickly, looking around the dark, navy blue themed room, which makes me soon realise where I am, my face beginning to go pale.

I immediately get up, throwing my clothes on that had been chucked around the room the previous night, before violently shaking Hyunjin to wake him up. My plan works successfully, as he opens his eyes slightly, softly smirking at me.

"What the hell happened last night, Hyunjin?" I ask him in a distressed tone, as he smirks, looking down at his disrobed body, then back up at me.

"Well, based on what I'm wearing right now, I'm guessing we-"

I cut him off abruptly, my voice shaking nervously. "Actually, I don't want to know."

I feel tremendous amounts of guilt flowing through my veins. What is Heeseung going to think, should I even tell him? Maybe I should have taken his advice, and this would've never happened.

"Why would you let this happen, Hyunjin?" I exclaim, my hands combing through my lengthy, black hair in frustration.

He responds with a shrug, giggling gently under his breath, and just as he's about to get up out of bed, I quickly pick up his clothes that were left on the floor, and chuck them in his face. "Put some clothes on first, I don't want to see your naked body." I declare, storming out of the door to allow him to get changed.

"It wouldn't matter anyways, you've seen it already now," I hear him chuckle back a comment as I walk out, furrowing my brows a little in disgust.

I was going to stay so we could talk this through, but Hyunjin's not taking this seriously at the moment. I bring myself down the stairs, and out the front door, walking home.

I guess I'm going to be slacking off school today, because there's no way that I'm going to walk in through those gates knowing I just fucked my best friend, who probably also liked it, whilst both of us knowing damn well I have a boyfriend.

THE NEXT DAY

Felix and I hurriedly walk over to the lunch queue. For some reason, it isn't as long as usual, so we get our food pretty quick.

Today, the menu is pork backbone stew, with some rice and an orange on the side.

When we get our food, Felix leads me over to a table with a few of his friends.

"Aera, meet my friends! Guys, introduce yourselves!" He exclaims excitedly, sitting down with his tray of pork stew and rice.

I sit down next to the cheery blonde, smiling faintly at the other people on the table; one girl, and one boy.

"Hi, I'm Gi!" Says one of the girls. I recognise her from my history class, she's really funny. And insanely pretty. She glances over at the boy next to her, speaking for him whilst he stuffs his face with food. "That's Suho."

I chuckle a little as Suho looks up, his eyebrows raised and alert.

"Hm?" His cheeks are filled up with food, just like a hamster.

"Don't worry about it, Su. Just eat your food." Gi pats him on the back, reassuring him as he nods and continues to chew on his big mouthful.

The four of us talk for a while, before we start to eat our lunch. I find out that Gi plays the guitar, and plays in a band after school which is so cool as I've been wanting to join a band for a few months now. If you didn't already know, I also play the guitar. She tells me there are a few empty spaces, and I could come along with her to try out someday.

We all eat pretty quickly, apart from Felix, who has only had like, one mouthful. The bell goes, and I get up, saying goodbye to Gi and Suho, and leaving my empty tray behind on the table. Felix does the same, although his tray is not at all empty. I guess he didn't like his food.

The bell for the end of the day calls out just as I am about to doze off in the middle of biology. As soon as I hear the loud ringing enter my ears, I perk my head up off the table, rapidly collecting up my book and my pen that I didn't use for the whole lesson, apart from drawing scary looking creatures on the front cover of my workbook.

I stuff everything messily back into my bag, before getting up and rushing out of the door, speeding over to Felix's classroom which is just opposite my own.

Felix exits the room, looking super tired. I would be tired too if I had to sit through an hour of geography. He's a strong soldier. He plods over to me, eyes heavy as we head for the school gates.

Walking out of the gates, I see someone standing just outside, walking over to me, a light smirk on his face.

It's Heeseung. Shit.

Seeing him reminds me of what happened between Hyunjin and I the other day. I don't know if I'm ready to face Heeseung yet, and I'm not good with keeping secrets, but for the sake of Hyunjin's life, I'm willing to try my hardest to keep to myself.

I walk up to my boyfriend, waving goodbye to Felix, who has gone to walk with Suho.

"Hey Aera," Heeseung says seductively, bringing me close to him, and leaning in for a kiss. I hesitate for a short moment before kissing him back. Two reasons why I did that, number one being that we are in front of my school, where everybody can see, and number two being that I fear he will somehow taste Hyunjin on my lips and figure out I had cheated. Man, I'm even addressing myself as a cheater now. This is bad.

-

Our hands are loosely held together as we walk down the long roads crowded with shops and passers by. Holding his hand makes me feel highly uncomfortable, as all I can think about is what I could have been doing with that hand two nights ago with Hyunjin.

All of a sudden, my phone pings from inside my coat. I slightly pull the device out of my pocket, briefly checking the notification. It's Hyunjin.

Why does he always seem to appear at the worst possible moments? I open our chats to two messages, carefully making sure Heeseung doesn't see. The messages read:

Hyunjin: hey u ok after yk ?

Hyunjin: sorry if i was being a dick abt it yesterday

Heeseung glances over at me, shielding my phone. I can feel his stares over my shoulder, so I quickly turn off my phone, before looking up at him innocently.

"Who were you texting?" He questions. I swallow loudly, forcing out a big, warm smile. My nervousness seems to get the better of me, so instead of answering, I just start rambling on, my words not making much sense at all in correlation to the question Heeseung has just asked me.

"Oh it was just my dog, actually, I don't even have a dog but just imagine I have one, okay? Ooh, now you've put a thought in my mind! If I was to have a dog, what breed do you think I'd have? I think I'd probably have a chihuahua just like Hyun- I mean, I think I'd have a chihuahua, just like my grandma! What about you?" My words fly out of my mouth at the speed of lightning.

Heeseung stares at me blankly for a moment, before repeating his question again in a puzzled voice.

"Uhh, so who was it you were texting..?"

"My mum." I blurt out immediately.

"Okay.. could've just said that to start with.." Heeseung stays looking at me with a concerned expression, before turning his head back to face the direction we are walking in.

I stare into the distance slowly, before going back on my phone to answer Hyunjin.

Hyunjin: hey u ok after yk ?

Hyunjin: sorry if i was being a dick abt it yesterday

Aera: yeah im okay idrc anymore

Aera: lets just forget it ever happened

I sigh as I close my phone and continue to wander down the street with Heeseung, who is still softly gripping onto my hand as we go.
