It's not that big a deal, I should've just agreed in the first place. I'd made it worse for myself, and anyways, that's what couples do all the time. I just need to get used to it.It's dark out, and the only thing that's slightly keeping me warm right now is my red, worn out Ferrari bomber jacket, which is on the brink of falling apart completely. The atmosphere is icy cold, and I'm blowing small clouds of air out of my mouth, which I find quite entertaining.
In all honesty, I probably should've stayed over at Heeseung's, or at least let him walk me home, but I felt kind of uncomfortable there, so here we are, roaming the streets of Seoul in the middle of the night.
I open my phone, the bright light of the screen illuminating my face as I walk. I click onto Heeseung's chats and send him a small text.
Aera: hi i miss youu already
It's highly unlikely that he will respond right now, so I just stuff my phone back into my pocket, and put my attention on where I'm going.
Walking down these streets remind me a lot of when Hyunjin and I used to go out in the dark and mess about. It was probably illegal, the things we did, but at the time we were just naïve little kids.
I look around at the night sky, admiring the few stars in the air. It's becoming less common for stars to appear, which is upsetting, as I love stars. I find it amazing how they appear to be small, but in reality they are as big, or bigger, than a planet.
Without warning, I feel a sharp pain enter my left foot as it steps down onto the ground. I shoot my head down, picking my foot up slowly and checking the sole of it's shoe, then looking down at the concrete, scanning the area carefully.
I find that I had stepped on a nail, and my shoes are just so flimsy that the nail punctured a hole right through the bottom of them. Those are my only good pair of shoes, goddamn.
I gently place my foot back onto the ground, my head rising back up to look where I'm going. But instead, what I see in front of me makes my blood run cold.
I should have expected it, I know. I mean what do you expect? Walking around in the streets at this time, I'm bound to bump into something like this.
I am now face to face with a tall, dark figure who's eyes are the only bright thing on them. Before I can react, the figure grabs my arm and drags me over to a pretty large van painted black.
I try to fight myself off this person's handle, but they are so strong. They open the back door of the van, trying to shove me in. Using all my strength, I resist them for long enough for a passer by to realise what is going on and help me.
"Get your hands off her," The passer by rushes over, grabbing the kidnapper's shirt and launching him out of the way onto the cold concrete floor. The pedestrian swiftly takes a grip of my wrist, directing me out of the van's doorframe.
The crazy man picks himself back up off the floor, striding fiercely over to the stranger. He takes one look at the other man in the eyes, before throwing a punch right at his face.
But, before his hand could even reach the other's face, he is knocked out cold by a strike in the nose. I guess they both had the same idea.
The passer by turns around to me, a worried expression in his eyes, which are the only two things I can see on his face; the rest is covered by a black mask.
"You okay, Aer?" He puts his hand on my shoulder, and as I hear those words, I gently grab the man's mask, pulling it down to take a proper look at his face.
"Hyunjin? What are you doing out at this time?" I exclaim. I'm not complaining, I mean, he has literally just saved me from getting kidnapped.
"I'm on patrol," He starts, chuckling to himself a little. "your mother has asked me to go out looking for you, she was getting worried as it's so late."
"Oh shit yeah, I was supposed to be home by eight." I check my phone. 9:53pm. I am so going to get yelled at when I get home.
Hyunjin scoffs lightly under his breath, smiling smugly like he always does. He starts to walk in the direction of my house, as he does this he slings his arm over my shoulder, keeping me close as we both stroll down the dark roads.
"Where have you been?" He asks me, which also makes me realise that I didn't tell anyone where I was going, so if I did get kidnapped, I would probably not get found.
"Oh, just to Heeseung's." I look down at the floor guiltily as I remember what happened only about an hour ago.
"Ooooh, did you guys do anything fun? Have anymore sexy time?" Hyunjin winks mischievously at me, his comment making me chuckle a little in nervosity.
"That's private information!" I exclaim jokingly, hitting his arm lightly.
"Oh come on, you're no fun." He laughs at me, squeezing me close to him a little. We are nearly back at my house, which is great, because my legs feel like they're about to give way.

Turning my house key into the keyhole, I look to Hyunjin, who is standing just next to me. "Thanks for saving me, by the way."
"No problemo. If you ever need saving again, hit me up." He jokingly bows as he watches me enter my house, smiling back at him.
I shut the door behind me, heaving a big sigh. Now I just have to face my mother. Exciting!
guys i will update when i come back from holiday!
