I wake up from the sound of birds noisily cawing outside of my window. I check my phone for the time. It's 5:34am. I force myself up out of bed, and walk up to my window to shoo the birds away.Today, the sky is bright, but the sun is nowhere to be seen. The air is frosty and grey, and as usual, I can see cars busily rushing down the main road.
Turning my attention away from the lively environment, I hear my phone ping. I go to check what the notification is for, and to my surprise, it's Heeseung.
Heeseung: Heyy Aera its Hee from last night. How r u?
I reply back instantly, a wide grin on my face. I thought he would have forgotten about me, but I guess not.
Aera: heyyyyy hee im great! u?
I plonk myself down on my bed, staring at the chat, waiting for him to reply.
Heeseung: Im good too!
Heeseung: Did you enjoy last night?
Aera: yess i did! it was so fun talking with youu
Our conversation goes on for a few minutes, as we reminisce about the previous night. I find myself laughing at the texts he sends, and responding instantly whenever he replies to me, rushing over to my phone if I hear it ping.
I am most definitely falling for this guy, and falling hard. All I can think about is his gorgeous, cherry red hair, and how he looked at me with such mysterious dark eyes last night.
He asks me to come over to his house in around an hour, to help him with something. He won't tell me what though. I agree excitedly, kicking my feet as I lay on my bed. I'm really looking forward to seeing him again.

20 MINUTES LATER
Yesterday, I missed my run. I am making up for it today by running for twice as long as usual.
I put my running shoes on smoothly as I lean up against the wall by my front door. I then pick up my headphones from the kitchen counter, and I place them on my head, before walking out the door.
I love running. It's probably my favourite activity, ever. I love the feeling of being able to relax my body after working it so hard. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I just run. I run my problems away.. most of the time. If I'm not running, I'm probably shopping.
The cool air hugs my skin tightly, giving me tiny refreshments as my feet dash under my body, one after the other. I look around at my surroundings. Where I am running, the city is less florid. There are a lot less people to crash into.
I look at the small trees, enclosed in little grassy areas around the pavements. I watch as flocks of birds migrate from the road, cars angrily beeping at them to move.
Everyone is matching with the winter season today, wearing long furry scarfs and jackets that look like they could unfreeze Antarctica's icebergs. I am currently not matching the dress code, as I am wearing a pair of shorts and a tight tank top.
Turning my head back around to look where I am going, I find myself met face to face with Hyunjin, who tries to swerve away from me, but is not quick enough, as I fall into him, pushing him backwards.
We both fall back on the hard pavement, but mostly Hyunjin as I get a softer landing on top of him. I quickly pick myself up, brushing myself off. I look down at Hyunjin who, not long after me, also gets up. His face is absolutely priceless, he looks like highly disorientated, not able to process what just happened.
