CHAPTER 27

Alan was stunned, not knowing if it was his illusion.

After arriving at the Hemmawich family, Jeff was even more indifferent to him.

Although Alan could have felt that Jeff's gentleness towards him was formulaic and it was due to his personality.

After arriving at this house, Jeff seemed to have changed, even the temperature of this floor dropped.

In fact, Alan was right. After entering the door, he saw that Jeff's whole demeanor changed, as if his soul had left his body.

When he is away from this house, Jeff may still have a kind of free and easy personality as if he has gone through the past and doesn't need to mention it again.

But when he comes back to this house, those things he thought had passed as if they happened yesterday, that kind of feeling of aggrieved feeling.

He came back all of a sudden, he couldn't wait to go up and beat Alan a few times to get rid of his grievances at the time and the depression that he is now full of.

"Dad!"

Lil Rak cry pulled Jeff back from the memory.
The little guy was still crawling around on the bed excitedly. He liked this little bed, soft and fragrant, his eyes narrowed into crescents with joy.

"Baby, we may be living here for the time being." Jeff consulted the little guy, "Do you like it here?"

Lil Rak tilted his head, and whispered back to him, "I like it. I like to be with my dad. Together."

He was too young and his expressive ability was not very good but Jeff understood what the little guy meant at a glance.

He leaned forward and kissed his son's face, while Lil Rak hugged him happily.

"Dad. Uncle Alan, he live here too?"

Jeff nodded. Lil Rak wrinkled his forehead and looked confused," Sky said that only family can live together, so... so I live with dad. However, Sky can't live with me so why Uncle Alan can live with us? Uncle Alan is my family?"

Jeff didn't expect Lil Rak to asked about this so soon. After avoiding the question, he didn't know how to answer him for a while.

Fortunately, the child's thoughts are unconstrained. Before Jeff came up with a suitable answer, his eyes were attracted by the car and dinosaur dolls on the shelf opposite and he threw two of it in Jeff's hands for him to see.

Alan was staying next door and he began to hate why the soundproofing effect at home was so good that he couldn't hear any sound.

After a long time, he heard the sound of the door opening next door.

He immediately walked to the door, pretending to have just come out of the bedroom.

Jeff ignored him, took Lik Rak downstairs.

Alan followed, "Where are you going? I'll accompany you."

"I'll go back to the store. No need, I'll check the bus route."

"It's very far ride. The bus takes at least an hour."

Jeff squatted down to help Lil Rak tidy up his clothes. The little guy was still not awake, yawning and tearful.

Alan saw that he was ignored but offered, "Jeff, I will prepare a car and let the driver pick you up every day?"

Jeff originally wanted to refuse but then he thought again. This place is so far away from the restaurant.

Lil Rak also has to go to kindergarten and it's inconvenient to go to restaurants by himself.

It was originally Alan's idea, so why not make use of it? He and Lil Rak dont need to work hard running around.
