70. New beginning!!

After a week...

It's been three days since Sharad left for his business trip, and today Shriya is departing for Mumbai... Ensuring she hasn't left anything behind, Shriya takes her bag and heads downstairs...

Upon reaching the dining table, Asha insists she sit for snacks and informs her that Varad will be dropping her off as it's evening...

Shriya agrees, familiar with her Mom's stubborn nature... Asha tells her to take care of herself... Shriya nods, smiling and she embraces both Asha and Smrithi...

Shriya taking her bag comes outside and sees Varad already waiting for her... She gets in the car and he drives off...

Varad: "Di, how fast time changes! It still feels like yesterday when I told you about my relationship with Smrithi, and today we are married."

Shriya: "Yes, I remember everything... Time goes by quickly... It's been three days, and your brother didn't call me today"...

Varad chuckles, "Well, you know how busy he is with the business trip... I'm sure he'll call as soon as he can."

Varad drops off Shriya at the airport, advising her to take care of herself and to call once she reaches... He bids her goodbye, and Shriya proceeds towards her departure...

Arriving at the Mumbai airport, Shriya, now a bit familiar with the new place, decides to check in at Sharad's hotel...

As soon as she enters the lobby area of the hotel, the staff recognises her and greets her... Shriya acknowledges them with a small smile, and moves towards the receptionist... The lady there recognizes her and wishes her evening ... Shriya, wishing her back, tells her to give the keys to Sharad's room...

The receptionist smiles and hands over the keys while wishing her a nice stay...

Unlocking the door to Sharad's room, she enters and closes the door behind her... Tossing her bag aside, she dials home to inform them that she reached safely...

Just as she was about to call Sharad, his call arrived, synchronising their thoughts...

Shriya smiles while answering his calls and hearing his voice
"Hello angel... Did you reach Mumbai safely? And I am sorry for not calling you these days at work"
and like that, her anger at him for not calling melts away...

Shriya: "I reached... Apology not accepted... You need punishment and once we meet I will punish you"...

Sharad responds, "Okay," and asks her where she is right now. Shriya tells him that she is at the same place where they met when she reached Mumbai for the first time. Sharad asks her if she is at their restaurant, to which Shriya answers with a cheerful "Yes"...

After chatting for a while, they exchange well-wishes and tell each other to take care... Shriya disconnects the call, as she prepares to have dinner and settles in for the night...
