Chay woke up bright and early the next morning like usual to start off his day. He woke up with a heavy heart but it's nothing that a little music can't fix. Flying through his morning routine he naturally flows from place to place before he inevitably ends up in the kitchen.
He's almost vibrating under his skin. Of course, part of that is from spending breakfast with his husband but most of it comes from the fact that it's Thursday. Thursdays through Sundays are his personal days and he tends to spend them at his little bakery and running his cooking YouTube channel.
About 4 years ago, Porsche suggested that Chay open up a restaurant to put his cooking skills to work. Chay wasn't too keen on a full-blown restaurant and liked to randomly post videos to his YouTube here and there. While Chay was thinking to himself about the idea, he remembered this cute little bakery in the shopping district of Seoul back when he and Kim went to South Korea for their honeymoon. He fell in love with the shop and went every day that he could before they left for Thailand. Eventually, he got to work and using the money that he earned from the businesses over the past three years since getting married, he was able to fund and build his own building. Eventually, he was able to get the business up and running and renovated the top floor as a second kitchen to run his YouTube channel.
He lost track of time while his mind wandered and by the time he was finishing cooking Kim was already making his way down the stairs.
Porchay mumbles an apology as he sets the table and Kim gives him a shrug in response not minding it.
This breakfast wasn't as intense as yesterday, but it was still mostly done in silence.
"I will be late again tonight so you can eat without me."
Kim doesn't look up from his plate as he informs Chay of his plans.
"Actually, I will also be late tonight so it's okay, P'Kim."
Kim stops his fork halfway towards his mouth. He finally looked up at Chay with a raised eyebrow, curious as to what could be so important for Chay to not be home. But ultimately dismisses it with a noncommittal hum in acknowledgement.
The rest of the breakfast progresses as normal and ends with Chay seeing Kim off at the door per usual.
Takumi soon meets Chay at the door before they head out for the day.

It is 8:30 am by the time that they make it to his bakery, "Wuju Bakery."
He can already see the line of hungry customers forming outside even though they don't open for another hour.
Some waved at him excited to see him but who wouldn't be excited to see one of the biggest celebrities in Thailand? He was a cooking guru, the son of a prominent family in Japan, and he was married to another son from a prominent family in Thailand. Not to mention that they have the "love story of the century" as fans and media like to call it. When Chay's cooking utility and bakery took off with the help of his cooking YouTube channel, this kind of catapulted Kim and Chay into the spotlight more than usual. The general public still thinks of them as business moguls and not for what they were as mafia, but the publicity of their relationship only served to boost each family's status. No one seemed to complain and just continued to move about their day.
"P'Chay! Sawatdee khrap!" Luke, one of the cashiers, greeted him on his way in.
"Sawatdee, Nong. How is everything going this morning?"
"Things are going well. We made sure to bake more products today for the buy one get one 50% special. So there shouldn't be any issues with anything. The manager is in the back counting everything now."
