Touching down felt so natural to him that he almost forgot what it felt like. He spent 14 summers here yet hasn't returned back to Japan in over 8 years.

He's happy that Chay seemed up for a week-long trip to Japan as a nice way to see the country again and see his parents and Porsche again so soon.

Though they aren't in Fukuoka yet that is the eventual destination or he can't go through with his plans just yet.

He could hear his brother's voice still to this day from his birthday confession in Khun's office 3 weeks ago.

"You want to what now?!" Kim had to cover his ears.

"Shhh!." Kim slowly removes his hands from his ears hoping that no one outside of the few bodyguards outside can hear them. "I may have checked the hallways but still keep it down."

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Khun had to sit down dramatically behind his desk to process this news. "I'm too busy freaking out at your confession! What do you mean that you want to propose to Chay?!"

"Kekkon shiteiru no?" Kinn interjects seeming confused. [Aren't you two still married?]

Kinn has lived in Japan for so long at this point that he randomly starts speaking in Japanese as if it was the most normal thing to do.

"Yeah, we're currently married but there was never a proposal." Kim sighed and tried to explain his thought process and reasoning for this sudden revelation. "We just went from being kids to being betrothed to being married. And as beautiful as all 3 wedding services were, they were rooted in obligation and not love. I want to give Chay the wedding and proposal he deserves. I think once I've done that I've at least made up for most of my bad deeds."

"Ok so you want to propose." Khun sits up and sets his folded hands on top of the desk in the process. "How will you do it?"

"I don't know," Kim chuckles nervously as he stretches the back of his neck. "I was kind of hoping that you guys would help me with this because I just thought of this just now."

"You're hopeless!" Khun dramatically drops his head onto his desk groaning. "What am I going to do with you Nong?"

"But I do know at least one thing," Kim says as he approached the two and sits in one of the chairs in front of Khun's desk causing Khun to look up at him intriguingly. "I want to go to Japan again and ask for forgiveness from Khun Kisaki and Khun Namphueng."

"That's perfect, you should do exactly that." Khun springs up from his seat emphatically.

"I agree because you won't be able to move on fully without addressing this issue." Kinn nods as if thinking this over in his head to assess how this may turn out.

"I wish you luck in this endeavour because if I was them, I would hate you with my entire being for hurting my sweet and innocent child the way you did, N'Chay." Khun looked at him matter of factly so that Kim could understand the severity of his actions once more.

Kim sighed knowing that Khun was right and hoped that his Japanese was well enough to convey himself well enough.

"Ne Ne, Kimu-san! Kita! Kita!" Chay gets Kim attention before grabbing his wrist and dragging him from off the private plane to the car waiting to take them around Tokyo. "Ikoze!" [Hey, hey, Kim-san! We're here! We're here! Let's go!]

"Uh! Ikou." Kim tries not to smile too big at Chay not realising that he didn't add in honourifics and spoke casually to him in all the excitement. [Yeah! Let's go.]

Never once in their life did Chay ever speak casually with him. Kim of course knew that the reasons were because of their 3 year age gap and because of the respect Chay has for him. Though it always strikes him that the only older person Chay would speak casually with of Takumi. And even 21 years later it's still a question that he'd been wanting to ask.
