Alexander Williams
I had another bad day, but I didn't let it set me back. I won't.
I'm strong.
I am enough.
Shifting back out of my wolf, I get dressed and fall to my ass. I lay flat, staring up at the sky. It's been a while since I've shifted and just ran. I'm quick when I train, one of the fastest. But I've never trained consistently. A breakdown was always looming over my head. Not anymore though.
I have them, but I don't let them control me anymore. If I have one, I take it as it is, and deal with it. With Knox. I don't dread it, or always think it's gonna happen.
Plus, I'm a man in love now. Surely things have to be better.
Sitting up, I take in my surroundings. A couple years ago we had an attack, and Branson got seriously hurt. He died for a few minutes. It was a lot on our family, but he survived.
I was scared to be close to the border for a while because of it. I still don't go alone, because I'm not in shape to defend myself. I was so scared of shifting in general. As someone who has tried to commit suicide, im still scared of dying.
Ironic, but true.
I take another deep breath. Then I push up, and head into the pack house. I climb the stairs to our room. I take a quick shower, drying my hair then my body. I slip on my oversized sweats, then climb into our bed.
Knox is visiting his sister today. I was going to go, but I needed some time alone. Now that I can actually stand it.
I pull up a movie on my phone, and curl up under the covers. Being alone can bring a good sense of peace. When my mind isn't going crazy. It doesn't take long for everything to go dark, and sleep takes over.

The bed dips, pulling me from my dream. My eyes take a second to adjust, and then I see a shirtless Knox. It's dark in here, so it must be night time.
"You slept right through dinner?" he asks, his hand running over my arm.
"Must've" I murmured, scooting closer to his body. He lays down, and I scoot closer to his chest. My head lays against it, and his arms wrap around me holding me close.
"Want to go grab something?" His voice is soft, and quiet.
"No. How is your sister? And her kids?" I sit up slightly, resting on my elbow. He runs his fingers through my hair.
"It was good. We went to the park, and to get ice cream. It was nice" he runs his thumb over my cheek bone gently.
"Good"
"What did you do?"
"I went out with my wolf, and ran a bit. Got some air and then came home and napped"
"Sounds like a good day, huh?" I nod, slowly climbing over his body. My knees sink into the bed beside his thighs.
"Was very good day babe" I lean down, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. His hands move to my hips, as his lips press back into mine.
"Babe huh?" he murmurs against my lips, before licking the seam. Opening up, our tongues meet in a gentle caress. Blood goes roaring to my groin. Knox sits up, making me move up some. My arms circle around his neck, and his hands pull my hips forward so i'm completely on his lap.
Our kiss deepens, his tongue licking into my mouth. My fingers tangle in the hair at the nape of his neck, and my lips travel to his jaw, to his neck. I run my tongue across his pulse point, before nipping it. "Want to mark you" I whisper, shifting my hips.
