My Little Secret (Ginny Weasley x Draco Malfoy)

Chapter 2

*One hour later

Pulling up to Kings Cross station in a taxi is the scariest thing I have ever done in my life. 

Well. If you don't count the other 11 years I've come to this place. I come every year to say goodbye to my brothers. To let them go off to Hogwarts or as my brothers put it, the best place in the world. 

Now it's my turn. And I'm... terrified. 

I have seen them go off on the train before I thought. I will be fine. I can do this. I can do this. 

As I watch my brothers disappear through the brick wall between platforms 9 and 10. I wonder if I'm going to just run square into a brick wall. 

I've been through it before. It will be fine. 

Sure enough, I run straight through the brick. 

Once through, I sit on a bench and my Mom comes to sit next to me after coming through the pillar.

 "You alright sweetie?" 

" I'm just a bit nervous is all" 

"Well, let me tell you something, Ginny," 

"What?" 

"Everyone is nervous their first time. After you sleep for the first night, you feel at home. Don't worry. You will fit right in with the first years." 

I smile at her. "Thanks, Mom. You're the best".

 "I would hope so! Now, give me a hug and get on that train."

 I hugged her tightly for what felt like forever and then ran off with my cart of schoolbooks and papers towards the train. Finally prepared for a new adventure. 

Sorry for the very short chapter! The next one will be longer. I am on a bit of a time crunch because of some state-wide testing coming up. The next chapter might not come out as soon as before.
