My Little Secret (Ginny Weasley x Draco Malfoy)

Chapter 1

"Ginny sweetie! Are your bags packed? You don't want to be late for your first day" Mom hollers up the stairs excitedly.

"Coming Mom!". I yell back as I run downstairs and into the small and cluttered kitchen of the burrow.

"George and Fred will get your stuff dear," Mom says.

She must have noticed the nervous look on my face. I just nod and sit down at the table, where a warm bowl of oatmeal sits before me.

I'm too antsy to eat, so I stare at the bowl while thinking until Ron comes down the stairs quite noisily while carrying all of his things.

"RON DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO CARRY ALL YOUR THINGS AT ONCE?" Mom yells. She must have scared him because Ron trips and drops just about everything in his hands.

I get up from my chair to help him just as George and Fred run down the stairs with my things.

I see the disaster happen in slow motion. George does not see Ron, so they slam into each other and tumble down the rest of the stairs.

there goes my books, I thought. I even made sure to get the newest-looking ones from Flourish and Blotts, oh well.

Fred comes after and sees the chaos. He stops just short of the collision. Thank goodness.

"All of you, up! up!" Mom says once both boys were squarely on top of each other. Honestly, I have no idea how she's dealt with them all these years.

I start picking up my things that were dropped when George stands up and says, "Don't worry Your Highness, your books will be gathered and stacked neatly." Then he ruffles my hair and takes the books from my hands.

I love my brothers, I really do, but sometimes they can be a little too much. I snap out of my thoughts when Mom yells," Come on in and eat up! You've got a long day ahead of you". We all walk into the kitchen and join her at the table.

Finally, Percy comes down the stairs, sits at the head of the table, and makes eye contact with nobody. He does not even touch his food. Just sits there while Fred, George, and Ron scarf down their food like they will never see an edible substance ever again.

Me on the other hand? I just spoon the smallest amount of oatmeal in my mouth as possible. Hoping that once I get to Hogwarts, everything will be different. 

That's when Mom looks at George Fred and Ron with a 'Do I need to mention it?' kind of look.

Finally, she says "Are we just going to ignore what happened last night?" All three boys look up at her with plastered curious looks. 

"YOU BOYS SNEAK OUT WITH YOUR FATHER'S CAR AND BREAK HARRY OUT OF HIS HOME WITHOUT SAYING A WORD???" 

All three of them exchange looks while she's still yelling, and by their expression, they are just going to take the beating. 

"YOU DARE DISRESPECT ME AND YOUR FATHE..." At that exact moment, Harry quietly tiptoes down the stairs while averting his eyes from the other boys and Ms. Weasley. 

Mom stands up, takes a deep breath, walks over to Harry, and says kindly "Good morning dear. Why don't you sit down while I get you some breakfast."

She leaves the kitchen table but not before giving the other guys a dirty look that says 'You will regret your choices' all while Percy hasn't moved an inch from his frozen-like pose. 

Finally, after a very tense and quiet breakfast, it was time to head to Hogwarts. 

Hello to all who are reading. This is my first time writing so if you got this far I will be overjoyed. This book is not super book accurate as I did change some major events as you will see later.  Im still editing the next 8 Chapters which I have already written. More will come soon.
