POV Sonic

It was the day of the Rouge's party and I was absolutely stoked for it! It's just so much better than being stuck at home. I heard a ding from my phone and looked at the message from Knuckles.

Hey dude my girl wants you to help us out with setting everything up for the party
Invite Shadow too
Rou said all the help you can find
She overslept again and will be late to her own party

alr I'll be there soon
Tails and Ames there?

They're on their way

I decided that instead of a call to Shadow, why don't I just run there? It's quicker. Once I arrived at the doorstep, I knocked, waiting until he opened the door. Man he looks like a mess. His quills were springing up and he had bags under his eyes. What the hell happened?

"Oh my. Shads you okay? Did you even sleep?" He stayed silent for a while before he yawned faintly and sighed. "Yes, something was just off about my sleep today. What do you need?" Off with your sleep?? Okay whatever, I shrugged off his behavior and went on to what I came here for.

"Knuckles wanted us to help for the party since Rouge overslept, again." I smiled and watched him nod before walking away and welcoming me in. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you out Friday. Maybe sometime tomorrow I can help you move in to your apartment. Does 8:00 in the morning sound alright to you?" My eyes widened slightly. 8:00 is soo early! But...I am gonna apply for a job so I'll have to be up early any way. "Sounds good, I'm applying first to a job tomorrow at 7:00 AM but it shouldn't take long. And most of my stuff are in boxes already so it won't be a big struggle."

We headed towards Rouge's place, she bought her own place some time ago. With what money? Stolen money. Everyone knows she's a little thief but since she has pretty privilege, no one bats an eye. I don't hate her at all, actually I don't even dislike her, she seems like a genuinely nice person aside from her bad behavior. I mean I sorta have to like her, she's Knux's girlfriend.

Once we arrived, Rouge scurried us inside, practically shouting at us which is unusual since she usually has a flirty and calm manner. "Hurry! It's about to be 2:00!" Rouge yelled out loud as she stomped her fancy heels up and down the stairs, clearly stressed the fuck out.

"2:00? You're way early, what party starts at 2:00?" I asked her.

"You don't get it hun, a girl needs time! Do you think I could get snacks, food, and decorations ready; plus get my make up and outfit done in 3 hours!?" She stood in front of me, crossing her arms and leaning in towards me with a pout in her face.

"Guess not." I shrugged while she huffed and walked away. She's probably cranky because Knuckles woke her up by slamming two pans together.

After doing the whole thing, Rouge was in a better mood and mostly all of us left to get ready ourselves.

When Shadow dropped me off I waved at him goodbye and watched him drive away.

I was in my house, in my room, looking down at the outfits laid on my bed. I decided to go with this blue denim jacket, baby blue glasses with rhinestones and some silver earrings along with a silver necklace for accessories.

I texted Ames and Tails, I was going to pick them up along with Shadow. Although Amy wasn't ready at all, I picked up Shadow and Tails. "Oh! Tails! Buddy, Shadow is gonna be helping me move in to my apartment, so you could focus on your inventions for the robotics competition." Tails eyes widened as he smiled widely. "Really!? Thanks Shadow!" Shadow nodded and we then came to a stop at Amy's house.
