Safe In Her Arms

(Author Note: This is not like how the show goes. It's a fanfic...so don't complain because I changed things, and yes supercorp is happening when Katie and Melissa are on set..)

The whole crew could easily read what was going on between Katie and Melissa. It was completely obvious to everyone. Melissa came out in her spandex 'Supergirl' suit for a scene where she would visit Katie again. "Ready for another visit from supergirl?" Melissa asked. "Of course." Katie replied smiling. The director shouted for them to get into positions.

For Katie that was to get out on the balcony of Lena's office while Melissa got hooked up to some wires and got ready to fly to Lena's balcony. "ACTION!" The director shouted and everyone began reciting their lines. Lena stood out on her balcony sighing with a glass of scotch in her hand. It was night time in National City and once again she was working late.  "Miss Luthor? Why are you working so late?" Supergirl asked as she hovered in the air. "Oh hello supergirl! Out on your usual evening fly around the city?" Lena asked. "Yes, it's how I saw you were still here. Now this is the part where you tell me why you're still here." Supergirl replied.

"Well...I'm here because I'm dealing with my emotions. I've finished my work hours ago." Lena stated. "Want to talk about them? I've been told I'm an excellent listener." Supergirl replied. Lena looked up at supergirl before nodding. The superhero landed softly on the balcony and walked into the office. "Make yourself comfortable. Would you like a drink?" Lena asked. Supergirl shook her head. "Doesn't affect me." She replied. "Oh...I didn't know that....but then there's a lot I don't know about you...like your real name..." Lena replied.

Supergirl remained silent for a long moment. "Why do you want to know my name?" Supergirl asked. "Call it mere curiosity. I've already proved myself apart of the super friends. So can't I know your name?" Lena asked. "I'll tell you my name if you tell me about what's bothering your emotions." Supergirl replied. "Fair enough..." Lena replied as she sat down on the sofa. "Well...I'm conflicted...you see I have this friend...well she's my best friend actually...I thought I was clear about how I felt about her...hell I filled her whole office with flowers once..but yet she still sees me as a friend." Lena stated. "Whats her name? Want me to beat her up for you?" Supergirl asked teasingly. "No...that won't be necessary...her name is Kara...Kara Danvers." Lena stated.

Supergirl paled. "Whats wrong?" Lena asked looking at supergirl. "Nothing... why haven't you told her?" Supergirl asked. "It just hasn't come up." Lena replied. "I see...now I suppose it's my turn to tell you my name...huh?" Supergirl asked. "It would be nice." Lena replied with a smile. Taking in a deep breath supergirl stood up turning around, she slowly reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. A smile appeared on her face as she called Lena.

Lena's mouth fell open as she heard her phone ringing. She looked at supergirl then back at her phone seeing 'Kara' on the screen. "Kara?" Lena asked softly. Supergirl turned around smiling. "It's me Lee. See!" Kara replied as she put on her glasses. "OH GOD!" Lena exclaimed as a smile appeared on her face. "If it helps...the feelings mutual..." Kara replied. Katie smiled but remained in her 'Lena Luthor' persona. "Can I kiss you?" Lena asked softly. Kara nodded. 'Oh fuck! It's really happening! Katies gonna kiss me!' Melissa thought to herself as 'Kara' leaned into 'Lena'. The kiss was quick but both women felt the passion behind it.

"CUT! PERFECT!" The director called...however Katie or Melissa pulled apart for a good minute.
