Katie's POV:

A few weeks have passed since our interview and four months passed since we arrived in Vancouver. Two months were left in this season filming of Supergirl. Then it would be back to my place till we found a place together. Me and Melissa in a fresh place where we could make new memories together. Right now I'm sitting on the sofa at the studio while Melissa shoots a scene with Chyler. They were fighting a 'alien' in the scene and I got to sit back and watch my gorgeous girlfriend in her suit with her skirt flapping in the 'wind'.  God she is so beautiful. The other day I did something big. I went to town with Chyler and bought an engagement ring. Yes I know it's awfully early but I just wanted to be ready for when the time comes. I continued watching my girlfriend work her magic on the camera for a few more minutes before they called scene. She came bounding over to me with a bright smile on her face. "Hey!" Melissa exclaimed. "Hey love. You did great out there." I replied. "Thanks, I'm so hungry." Melissa said as she pulled me over to the food table.

Melissa's POV:

Something's up with Katie. She's been different since she got back from town with Chyler. I asked her what was up and she said 'nothing love, everything's fine.' In that damns sexy Irish accent of hers. Damn! She can say anything to me in that accent and I'd just melt into a puddle of goo on the floor. "So..now that filming is over for the day..what would you like to do?" I asked her as we left the studio. "Hmm. How about we go back to the house, for a bit and maybe go out later tonight?" She asked. "Sounds good to me." I replied with a smile. "Mel love, whats on your mind?" Katie asked. "Just still wondering what you and Chyler did in town the other day." I said. "I told you love, we went out to eat. We wanted to prepare for our scene and we thought we'd bond over lunch." Katie replied her eyes sparking with love for me. "Ok...come on let's go upstairs...I need a nap after all this." I replied as she and I climbed the stairs together.

I quickly got into comfortable clothes and pulled Katie in bed with me. "Mel...there's something I'd like to talk to you about." Katie spoke softly. "Hmm? What is it?" I asked sitting up. Katie opened and closed her mouth a couple times before she began speaking. "I need to tell you what else we did in town the other day." She said. My heart began to pound in my chest and questions flooded my brain. "Relax love, I'm not leaving you, not now...not ever. However that being said...I was gonna wait and do this after we returned to my house but I think now's a perfect time to do this." Katie said as she reached into her pocket and pulled something out.

Katie's POV:

It was time. I know it is. It's the perfect time to purpose to her. I took a deep breath in and let it out slowly. "Melissa Beniost...I've had feelings for you since our first day on set together. I can't exactly remember when my feelings turned into love but they did and now we're together. Now that we're together I don't want to wait any longer to do this. I don't want to live the rest of my life with anyone else but you...sooo Mel...will you marry me?" I asked. I did it! I got it out of my mouth without vomiting. Now I waited for her answer. "Are you serious? Cause god I hope so! Yes of course!" Melissa replied. "Yes? You will marry me? Oh thank god!" I shouted! "Of course I'll marry you Katie! I love you!" Melissa squealed as she jumped into my arms. "I love you too." I replied.

"We don't have to get married anytime soon...we can wait for as long as you like...I just had to ask you...I couldn't wait any longer." I whispered as we lay there in bed. "What about next year...in between shooting." Melissa suggested. I looked at her to see her smiling back at me. "If that's what you want then that's when it shall be. We can go later tonight and you can pick me out a ring if you want...then we can go to dinner or something to celebrate." I suggested. "I'd love that...but right now I want to enjoy some quiet time with you." Melissa replied.
