Odette's POV:

Finally those two horn dogs arrived downstairs so we could go grab breakfast together. I swear those two were made for each other. "Are you ready to go?" Chyler asks. "Yes...let's go before the paparazzi spot us." Katie replied. We got into the car and I told the driver the name of the restaurant we wanted to go to and we left. "So did everyone sleep well?" I asked. "Yes. We did, did you?" Melissa asked. "We slept good. I don't know about Odette...but I'm ready to go home again." Chyler said. "Oh I'm looking forward to going home too." I replied.

"So where's this restaurant we're going to?" Katie asked. "It's a little diner that we can be out of the limelight." I replied. "Oh good. After comic con my phone has been blowing up." Melissa said. "See, this is why I don't have social media. No one knows what I'm doing unless they run into me." Katie said. "Yea....that was before we got together....now they know where you are..." Melissa replied softly.

Katie's POV:

Does Melissa blame herself for the fans and the paparazzi finding us here? I know I couldn't ask her right now. Now with Chyler and Odette in the same car. I reach over and take her hand in mine and squeeze it gently.  Soon the car comes to a halt outside a nice looking diner. I get out and reach for Melissa's hand before we walk into the building behind Chyler and Odette. "You ok Mel?" I ask softly. "Yes, I'm ok." She replies softly. That's her 'I'm not ok...but I don't want you to worry about me' voice.  We take our seats and I order myself some coffee and waited for everyone else to order their drinks. Surprisingly Melissa ordered a glass of orange juice  instead of her usual coffee. I made a mental note to ask her about it later.

Mellissa's POV:

I ate my breakfast and made small talk with everyone. I felt bad for Katie. It's because of me that she's being hunted by the paparazzi now. If we hadn't gotten together none of this would happen. She probably hates me for it. I wouldn't blame her if after we got back home she broke things off with me.

Once we've all finished our food we decided to split up and do our own exploring. Katie took my hand and we began walking down the side walk towards the ocean. "Mel? What's bothering you? You've been awfully quiet all morning." Katie says.  I turn and look at her before I speak. "Are you mad at me for the paparazzi now knowing what you're doing and where you are all the time now?" I blurt out. "So that's why you've been quiet? You think I'm upset with you? Oh Melissa...you silly woman! I'm not mad about the paparazzi, or anything. Does it bother me? Yes...but what would bother me more is if you weren't in my life." Katie replied. "I'd miss waking up to you staring at me...just because you can...I'd miss teasing you about how you take your coffee every bloody morning. But most of all I'd miss you." Katie adds. I can't take much more of her pouring her heart out. I lean in and capture her lips with my own.
