Katie's POV:

It's Friday night and we don't have to shoot today so I've decided to take Melissa out on a date. We both agreed to have a casual date so no one would get suspicious. "Are you all set?" I asked looking at her. "Yea let's get going while everyone is busy." Melissa replied. Together we sneak out the front door and begin walking to the cafe we went to when we first got here. "Should we hold hands?" Melissa asks. "Do you want to?" I reply letting her decide how we do this. "Yes." She replied taking my hand in hers.

The cafe was sparsely populated which was good for us. We quickly took a back table and ordered drinks. "So..is this our first date or second one?" I ask. "Wouldn't be our second one since we came here right after arriving." Melissa replied with a smile. "What are you thinking of having Mel?" I asked looking up at her. "I was thinking about the chicken sandwich what about you?" She asked. "Me too. Oh gosh here come Chyler and Odette." I sighed.

"Hey guys!" Chyler exclaimed happily as she joined us. "Are we interrupting something?" Odette asked. "Nope." Melissa replied avoiding eye contact with them. "Hmm...Chyler seems we are interrupting something...maybe we should go get our own table." Odette replied. I snuck a glance at Melissa who was looking at her plate blushing. Odette and Chyler left our table quickly so I slid a hand across the table and gently took Melissa's hand in mine. "It's ok...they're gone now...it's just us." I whispered.

Melissa's POV:

Our second date! It was the best time of my life. After dinner we walked around the town till we found the beach. Shoes in our hands we held each other's hands and walked in the moonlight on the beach. Something was stirring inside me. Something that I thought I had lost years ago after being with my exe husband. "Katie.." I whispered. "Yes Mel?" She asked looking in my eyes. "Do you..." I was having trouble finding the words. "What Mel? You can tell me whatever it is." Katie replied. God this woman was so damn perfect. I swallowed hard and looked at the sand again as I searched for the words to tell this goddess I wanted to have sex with her finally after all this time.

"Katie...would it be ok if we headed back now? I'm getting cold. And I think it's time to tell everyone about us...if thats ok with you?" I asked. "Of course darling we can head back. Here let's go over to that bench and slip our shoes on." Katie replied. We slipped our shoes on and Katie pulled off her hoodie handing it to me. "Here put this on." Katie said. "Thank you Katie." I replied as I slipped on the oversized hoodie. "Come on hop on...I can tell you're tired. I'll carry you back." Katie added as she knelt down so I could climb on her back.

"So what's really going on?" Katie asked as we headed back to the house. "I want to do something...later." I replied whispering in her ear. "Oh ok...what is it?" Katie asked. "I'll show you later ok..." I replied as I squeezed her tighter. We finally made it back to the house and reluctantly I slid off her back and took her hand instead. We walked into the living room this way and sat down on the sofa...all eyes on us.

I lay my head on Katie's shoulder as everyone began asking questions. "I thought you were married? What happened?" Chyler asked. I looked at Katie for help in answering. "We got a divorce." I replied softly. "Oh...how come?" Odette asked. However I couldn't find the words to reply so I nudged Katie to tell everyone. "He was abusing Melissa. So whenever things got too bad she'd come to my house and hide away. Finally the divorce went through...and when Melissa showed up at my house she had a black eye...a goodbye gift from her exe husband. And that's all I'm gonna say." Katie stated. I looked up to see everyone nodding with sympathetic looks on their faces. "Mel doesn't want anyone's sympathy. So please don't treat her any differently." Katie snapped. God defensive Katie is hot too.

"Can we go upstairs now?" I whispered in Katie's ear. She simply nodded and stood up still holding my hand we left the living room together and headed upstairs to our room.
