Katie's POV:
Melissa looks heavenly in her light blue dress with her hair up in a bun. My eyes haven't left her since she walked downstairs a minute ago. "Hello sweetheart! You look beautiful!" She says with a smile. "Me? Have you seen yourself? You look like a goddess, truly." I replied. "Thank you love. Shall we go mingle?" Melissa asks. "I suppose, we should." I said. "Come on love, let's go thank everyone from coming...and tonight we can celebrate privately." Melissa whispered. "I'm holding you to that." I replied before we began walking around thanking everyone for coming.
"Congratulations ladies!" Chyler says as she pulls into a hug. "Thanks Chy!" Melissa replies. "So have you decided on a Madrid of honor?" Odette asks. "Ugh..you sound like my sisters." Melissa groaned. "Sorry...we're just really interested in finding out who it's gonna be." Chyler added. "We haven't decided yet." I stated. "Let's go get some food shall we?" Melissa suggested pulling me over to the buffet table.
Melissa's POV:
This night is dragging on and on. Everyone keeps asking me who's gonna be my maid of honor and I want to scream. Thankfully Katie keeps me grounded. "Picture time!" I hear my mom say. "Come on darling, let's go have our pictures taken." Katie cooed. "Ok, let's go." I say as we walk over to the backdrop we have hanging in our living room. We pose in a few different positions as camera's flash in our faces. A few minutes later we're sitting at our tables to eat dinner.
Chyler's POV:
Watching Melissa and Katie together tonight makes me yearn to have this moment with myself and Odette one day. Currently I'm sitting next to her at the table enjoying the most delicious food I've ever had. "You alright?" Odette asks. "Yes. Just enjoying the food. What about you?" I ask. "Same as you." Odette replied. I smiled at her. Katie and Melissa stand up together and tap on their glasses. "We'd like to thank everyone for coming tonight! It means a lot to us." Katie says. "Yes! Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating our engagement! It really means a lot to have our television family here along with our actual family here." Melissa added.
