EXT. (TRALGARIA) - SPACE
The battle in space continues. We watch as an A-Wing maneuvers the dogfight and takes out two First Order TIE Fighters. The A-Wing swings back around towards the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser. A First Order TIE Fighter flies behind the A-Wing and opens fire. The A-Wing is hit in the back before it spins out of control and explodes right in front of the window to the room that POE DAMERON is being held in.
CUT TO:
INT. MON CALAMARI STAR CRUISER MEDICAL BAY - SPACE
POE DAMERON lays in a bed in the medical bay. CHEWBACCA and BB-8 sit next to him. POE DAMERON's head, chest, and left leg are bandaged. The explosion wakes him up. He screams.
POE DAMERON
Ah!
POE DAMERON sits up fast and gets out of bed CHEWBACCA stands up.
BB-8
Beep be-beep.
CHEWBACCA
Rawrgh.
POE DAMERON quickly limps over to the window and looks outside. He sees the First Order Dreadnought through the window. POE DAMERON turns around and looks at CHEWBACCA.
POE DAMERON
We need to get to command.
CUT TO:
INT. MON CALAMARI STAR CRUISER COMMAND BRIDGE - DAY
POE DAMERON limps into the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser's briefing room, his arm around CHEWBACCA for support. BB-8 enters with them. OLA KILTO, GENERAL VOBTIR, AFTAB ACKBAR, COMMANDER D'ACY, KAYDEL CONNIX, C-3PO, R2-D2, and LEIA ORGANA stand around the holotable.
LEIA ORGANA
Poe?
POE DAMERON
General Vobtir, you need to fly
the cruiser above that First
Order Dreadnought.
GENERAL VOBTIR
That will put us in range of
their Star Destroyer's cannons.
POE DAMERON
Better that than in the range of
that Dreadnought's orbital
cannons. They're priming right
now and if you don't get out of
its crosshairs we're done for.
COMMANDER D'ACY
Poe, you should be resting.
CHEWBACCA
Rawrgh rawr.
BB-8
Be-boop.
POE DAMERON
I know, but we have to act now,
or that Dreadnought is gonna rip
right through us.
POE DAMERON walks over to where KAYDEL CONNIX is standing and presses a button on the holotable.
POE DAMERON
Snap, C'ai, Pava, can anyone hear
me?
CUT TO:
EXT. (TRALGARIA) - SPACE
C'AI THRENALLI, TEMMIN "SNAP" WEXLEY, and JESSIKA PAVA fly their X-Wings in formation. They are maneuvering the space battle in unison, blasting several First Order starfighters away while they do it.
CUT TO:
INT. TEMMIN "SNAP" WEXLEY'S X-WING - SPACE
TEMMIN "SNAP" WEXLEY
Loud and clear Poe.
CUT TO:
INT. C'AI THRENALLI'S X-WING - SPACE
C'AI THRENALLI
Yeah.
