Six months passed, and much had happened to the werewolves and hunters. Xenon took Derek's body back to his family's headquarters, where his wife was distraught for not only her son's death but also what he had done. Xenon and Nora went to Maverick, Iris, and the pack, where they apologized profusely for what Derek had done. They were forgiven, and it was decided among the Atrim Family and Blood Claw Pack would still be intact. Then, the topic of Brianna occurred, and Maverick thought that Iris would have wanted Brianna to stay buried in the cave's rubble, but Iris didn't. She wanted what was left of her sister's remains to be returned to her parents since they deserved to know what happened to their favorite child.

The hunters and werewolves worked together to find Brianna; only her right arm and left foot were found. There was the possibility that Brianna's were non-existent due to the explosion. Iris believed it best to go to her parents to tell them what had happened to Brianna. However, Xenon and Nora believed that it was best that they went to tell her parents instead since their son was the cause of Brianna's death. They wanted to tell her parents that Derek killed Brianna because he was mentally unwell and blamed her for the breakup.

Iris agreed since she didn't want to see her parents; she knew that her parents would blame her for Brianna's death. She also swore that she never wanted to see her parents ever again. When her parents were informed, they were in shock and enraged by Brianna's death. They wanted to sue the Atrim Family even though they were willing to cover the funeral costs. However, Maverick told the Atrim Family to tell them that Brianna caused his wife's death and that if they threatened to sue, then Maverick would sue Iris's parents to the full. Iris's parents felt enraged and believed that their daughter was capable.

Matthias and Xenon could find the evidence that Derek found: footage from a small business's camera caught the accident. The police didn't bother to ask the certain business, which was why Brianna got away with murder. The pack's police force goes to them and shows them the evidence found. With the evidence linking Brianna to Ofelia's death, Iris's parents wanted to call their daughter for assistance, but when she wasn't answering their calls, they were at a dead end and decided not to go through with court. They tried calling Iris, but she changed her number and information so her parents could never contact her again.

Moreover, when Iris officially became a werewolf, the pack was thrilled that she survived and openly accepted becoming a werewolf. Iris had difficulty adjusting to her new life as a werewolf, but Maverick was patient and showed her everything. They lived together in Maverick's home, and Asher became their adopted son. Asher did have trauma due to the kidnapping, but the couple took him to therapy and had him go to a speech pathologist to help with his language and speech. Asher also began to trust Iris and Maverick and became more cheerful and open to them. Not only that, he became best friends with Waylen.

Everything became peaceful again in the Blood Claw Pack since Derek was no longer a threat. Rogues that were accepted to join the pack eventually moved within the territory. Matthias, Laura, Maverick, and Iris worked together to welcome the rogues.

Jessica and Rickon slowly overcame the distrust and trauma they went through. Rickon kept his word to Jessica, giving her the space she needed, and he also went to therapy to help her overcome her issues. Thanks to therapy, Rickon discovered many things about himself that he didn't realize or tried to ignore. He also told Jessica about his sessions, and they became closer; Jessica slowly accepted the werewolf world. She also eventually forgave Rickon for his actions and eventually began dating. They decided to travel together to get closer for a year, and everyone was happy for them and supported them wholeheartedly.

As for Maverick and Iris, they became happier together with Asher and felt as if they were a happy family in a short amount of time. At the moment, the family of three was by the lake with Matthias, Laura, Waylen, and the rest of the Blood Claw Pack. They were celebrating the season of the Moon Goddess and prayed for her blessing for the pack's success. Everyone was by the pack's well-known lake in an undiscovered location within the forest, where they celebrated. Eight barbeque grills were at different parts of the lake where the pack's professional chefs cooked meats and vegetables. Some tables had plates and bowls of food, bottles of wine, and other beverages.

The sun had set, and the moon slowly appeared in the night skies. Members of the pack had their fill, and the children finished playing with one another; Matthias called everyone together in front of the lake, where the moon's reflection was shown. Laura and Waylen stood beside him while Maverick, Iris, and Asher stood close to them and before the pack. When everyone was seated and quiet, Matthias began. "My pack, thank you for coming to the pack's annual Moon blessing! As you all know, we have faced many hardships, but with the protection and guidance of the Moon Goddess and each other, we have prevailed and are at peace once again!" Everyone cheered until Matthias raised his hand in silence. "As we celebrate and cleanse ourselves to the lake's waters, which the Moon Goddess has blessed, Maverick wishes to make one of his wishes come true."

Everyone, including Iris, looked confused. Maverick looked nervous as he glanced at Asher, who then took out a neatly folded medium poster from his Superman backpack that he had with him. When Matthias and his family walked away from the center, Maverick motioned Iris and Asher to the center.

All eyes were on them, and Iris looked at Maverick confusedly. Maverick looked nervous, but he took a deep breath. "Iris, Asher, and I stand before you, the pack, and the Moon Goddess because I made a wish and a blessing to the Moon Goddess a while back. I only asked for happiness for my mate and our future family. Although you and I have been hit with difficult pains and experiences, we were able to find one another to have a second chance in life. Those hardships and our time together made me realize how precious life and love are." Then, to everyone's shock, Maverick got down on one knee. Asher went by his side as he unfolded the poster. Iris's eyes widened when she read what Asher wrote: WILL YOU BE DAD'S WIFE?

"M-Maverick?" She then saw Maverick take out a handcrafted box and opened it. It was a ring that was made of gold and a carved Iris flower sapphire. Tears formed in her eyes.

"Y-You may not know, but in our pack, it is a tradition that when a male werewolf wishes to marry his mate, he handcrafts a ring or any other form of jewelry. Iris, will you marry me?"

Tears formed and dripped from her eyes as she immediately went to hug Maverick and then Asher. "Y-Yes! I will!"

Everyone screamed with joy and clapped for their Beta and his family. Maverick was also overcome with joy as he, Iris, and Asher separated. He got the ring out of the box and put it on Iris's ring finger. He hugged her again, but Iris quickly separated, which confused him. Then, she gently held onto his right hand and put it on her lower stomach. He was confused but felt an aura inside; his eyes widened. The Beta used his mind link. "A-Are you...!?"

Iris nodded while smiling. "Yes, my love. Our family will finally be complete."

Maverick and Iris kissed as everyone kept on cheering. Maverick had felt so much pain from the loss of his first love, but he was given a second chance to live and love; it was all that he needed, and he would not have it any other way.
