"If your brother is stupid enough, he's going to convince Stiles he has to go to that bus tonight." Derek told Sawyer as she laid against him as they both laid back in her bed.

It was nothing sexual, just two friends finding comfort in each other.

"Then let him." Sawyer mumbled as she turned towards Derek, her head lying on his chest, her eyes half way closed. "You're not worried about him?" Derek asked. "I am, but he's a big boy." She mumbled.

The sky was dark as Derek looked up, seeing the glow in the dark stars that the two of them had put on her ceiling together when they were younger. "You still have them." Derek mumbled as Sawyer opened her eyes slightly.

"Yeah. They remind me of your front lawn. Remember how we would camp outside? Your mom would get mad because we drug out the pillows and blankets out  to sleep on." Sawyer said and Derek chuckled at the memory. "She could never hate you. She loved you as one of her own." Derek told her and Sawyer smiled sleepily. "Yeah." She said softly as she drifted off to sleep. Derek looked down at her with fond eyes.

He had feelings for the McCall girl for years that he kept buried and being back in Beacon Hills had drug them all right back up again. He knew that she didn't see him in the same light, and tried not to hurt his feelings, so he would take all the time with her he could.

Derek's eyes had just closed when he heard something, making them wide open and alert.

"Bunny!" Scott called out from the entry way, his foot falls quickly climbing the stairs. Derek gently laid Sawyer on her bed, climbing out her window. He knew how bad the young wolf temper had been towards his sister, and he didn't want to be ammunition for it, not if it would hurt her.

"Bunny?" Scott called out again as he knocked on her door, opening it slightly. "Scott?" She asked groggily as her brown eyes squinted. "Hey, sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up." He said. "No problem. What did mom say?" "No." Scott pouted. "I could have told you that." Sawyer chuckled making the boy pout.

"What? Why didn't you tell me?" Scott asked, his arms crossed. "There's a curfew Scott. She's not going to give you the means to break that curfew. Me on the other hand-" Sawyer said, trailing off her sentence as she grabbed her car keys from her night stand.

"Really?" Scott asked. "Doc says I can't drive for a few days anyway. Plus I wouldn't be the awesome big sister if I didn't." Sawyer said as Scott jumped on her bed, wrapping her in a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. You won't regret it." Scott told her. "I better not." She teased back.

"Why does it smell like Derek in here?" Scott asked as he eyed his sister wear-fully. Thinking on the fly, she remembered the wolfs hoodie that still resides in her bag. "I have his hoodie in my bag from the hospital. Must have went into the air, I don't know." She told him and Scott shrugged taking the answer.

"I'm headed to bed. Night." The teen said and Sawyer smiled waving. "Night." She said as the boy exited her room, closing the door.

"You can come back in Derek." The girl said as she saw his silhouette from outside the window. "How did you know?" Derek whispered as he climbed back inside. "You never left when we were younger either." She told him and he looked away. "Would you just get back over here?" She asked and he rose a brow. "Not like that, nasty. It's cold and you're warm." She told him and Derek let out a laugh.

"You're not wearing that." Sawyer said as she stepped into her brother's room, the night of his date with Allison. "What do you mean? It's nice. Right?" Scott said. "Nice for school. Scott, this is a date remember. A little more nice. AKA not plad and jeans." Sawyer said as she looked through his closet.

"Stripes?" Scott asked holding up a T-shirt. "Scott!" "Okay! No stripes!" He said throwing the shirt somewhere he would never find it again.

"Here! Your polo!" She said handing the boy the polo shirt that he had from band the year before. It was an army green color, and she threw a pair of black jeans at him. "Try that on." She said as the boy changed.

"Why are you helping me?" Scott asked his sister through the bathroom door. "If I have to live vicariously through you for a relationship, Scott, you're gonna get it right." She told him and he scoffed. "You don't think I could get Allison on my own?" Scott asked. "You did get her on your own. Somehow. I'm just making sure you keep her. I've seen her, and I've seen how you look at her. I want this to work for you Scotty." She told him and he smiled. "So do I."

"Then take my advice. The green looks great on you. Go get her tiger." Sawyer told her brother as Scott paused, looking at her. "You'll cover for me right?" "Yeah, I already told mom you were staying with Stiles tonight." Sawyer said and Scott nodded. "Thanks, sis." "You're welcome. Now go. You're gonna be late." She told him and he laughed as he sped down the stairs.

Grabbing her phone, she found the number she wanted. "Sully?" "Hey. You wanna grab some food?"
